STRANDED, 3000.

My eyes opened abruptly. I had a deep dream and just felt I had to write this down. I looked at the clock that was ticking without stopping the whole night. It was still 72 o’clock. 101 days until my parents named Didion and Kayelin woke up from the ice pot. I wrote in my diary next to my pillow. 16th of March, 3014. I dreamed about a world of darkness. People were crying for survival but the earth was suddenly sucked into a black hole and that is when everything began right here. I closed my eyes again and fell back asleep. The next day when I read my diary, I couldn’t recognize what I had written not because it was a dream but because I am now a different person from yesterday.
