Spoiled by Eight Uncles (Lily)

Chapter 1539 Angel

Cameron walked silently on the street after leaving the school.

After his bullying became viral, everyone paid attention to what happened. The students who had been robbing him blind were swiftly criticized and punished by the school.

Alas, the situation eventually calmed down as people forgot about it and moved on with their lives. As a result, those students who had been leashed became even more aggressive after being punished. They promptly directed their anger toward him, blaming him for their punishment.

If he hadn't spoken up, the public's anger wouldn't have been directed at them!

They started beating him harder and took more care to do it covertly.

Cameron couldn't understand why this was happening.

He felt despair.

He even questioned whether it was right for him to speak out. If he had remained silent, he wouldn't have been involved.

Perhaps he would have been fine. Sure, he would still be forced to make several payments for the sake of his continued health. However, he wouldn't be beaten up like this. Cameron clutched his stomach, feeling the tender bruise undoubtedly blooming there.

He felt weak.

Just as he was drowning, several people blocked his path.

"Well, look who it is. Our local hero, Cameron Owen!"

"What's wrong with Cameron today? Haven't eaten?" They insulted him while beating him for no reason.

Cameron had no ability to resist, nor did he dare to.

He curled up, protecting his head with his hands, as tears involuntarily rolled down his cheeks.

"Hahaha! He's actually crying!"

"Look, he's crying from being beaten! Hey, let me take a video to show everyone how much our dear hero, Cameron, loves to cry!"

They laughed and mocked him, playing cruel tricks.

Cameron looked at their malicious smiles and the phones pointed at him. At this point, he felt so done with everything that he felt himself turn numb.

The leader even grabbed his hair, lifting his head while unzipping his pants, saying to the others, "Quick! Film him drinking my urine!"

His face was filled with excitement. Right now, it was hard to see that these were merely schoolboys when they were acting in such a manner. They were howling as their faces twisted into revealing the most malicious side of human nature.

They seemed to find this amusing as each of them urinated into a mineral water bottle.

Cameron struggled. Alas, they didn't even break a sweat as they forced him down.

Just when things were about to get worse, the leader was suddenly thrown away!

Hannah looked like an avenging angel as she grabbed him and slammed him against the wall. Nonetheless, she wasn't the least bit satisfied as she lifted him up by his hair!

"What the hell?! You love to put people in their place, huh? You dare to touch the person I, Hannah Crawford, am protecting?!"

With that, she pressed him against the wall again!

Lilly went over to help Cameron up, asking, "Are you okay?"

Cameron was stunned.

He looked at Lilly before turning to stare at Hannah with wide eyes.

Hannah was currently beating up the gang leader. She even grabbed one of their urine-filled bottles and aimed it right at him before promptly shoving it down his throat!

Lilly inhaled sharply as she quickly looked up at the sky. Ah, the sky's looking very nice today. What a pretty shade of blue. I'm just so entranced by this color that I didn't witness Hannah serving her own brand of justice. Yes, that's it.

Cameron had no such compunctions as he stared at Hannah with wonder.

She's so cool.

He blinked at the scene playing before him dumbly.

At this moment, he couldn't understand how people would call her a delinquent. He certainly couldn't bring himself to see her as anything aside from an angel sent to protect him. She wasn't a demon! If anything, she radiated strength and courage.

In the end, the little gangsters were beaten so badly that some even cried for their parents. This time, Hannah didn't show any mercy. They probably wouldn't be able to get out of bed for a month after this beating!

She tossed them aside like the trash they were, standing tall as she stepped on the gang leader's head, sneering, "Go back and tell your parents that Hannah Crawford was the one who gave you a good f*cking beating! I, Hannah Crawford, am a member of the Crawford family, the wealthiest family in Clodston! So, feel free to spread my infamy! I'll be waiting right here! You f*cking c*nts!" She was about to continue to cuss them out before she recalled Lilly was here. So, she bit her tongue and said, "If I catch you guys again, I'll cripple your legs and you can crawl to campus! You got that?!"

Hannah let go of them, took their phones, and first transferred the video to her phone,

Although she didn't need to rely on her family's influence, this video could prove she didn't attack people without reason if something did happen.

Of course, she didn't want to cause trouble for her family. So, she wasted no time deleting all the other copies from their phones after transferring the video to her own phone.

"Well? You lot got anything else you want to say for yourselves?!" Hannah glared coldly at the gangsters rolling on the ground.

She was very skilled at fighting, as she knew where to strike to cause pain without causing serious harm. Thus, she wasn't concerned about killing them.

The thugs dared not say a word. They were used to bullying others. Alas, the tables had turned, and they were the ones being oppressed like the scum they were. They felt both humiliated and angry as they were reduced to nothing but tears.

They shook their heads repeatedly. "N-No."

Hannah scoffed, "And here I thought you guys were tough! Crying after a few punches? What a bunch of cowards!"

Hannah walked over to Lilly. She only spared Cameron a casual glance.

"Shall we go home?" she asked.

Lilly looked at Cameron. "Let's take him to the hospital first."

She still remembered what the school doctor had said.

However, Cameron somehow became flustered upon seeing Hannah approach. He clumsily staggered to his feet, frantically grabbed his backpack, and stumbled away.

Hannah looked on, utterly baffled.

"What's his problem, Lilly? I'm not going to harm him!"

Hannah found it strange. She wasn't out to get him. If anything, she was the one who had saved him.

Why did he act as if he had seen a ghost upon seeing her? What happened to a simple thank you?
