The two were throwing punches mid air, and then. Stephanie’s sword fell out of her hand. 

Maximus seized the opportunity, pointing the tip of his sword at her throat 

Stephanie felt a pang of disappointment How could she lose this fight? 

With her sword gone, she had no chance against him. All she could do was grit her teeth and stay in the role 

The murderous look in her eyes vanished in an instant. 

“Spare mel” 

Maximus raised an eyebrow “Why do you want to kill me?” 

“It was a misunderstanding! I wasn’t trying to kill you. I just wanted to have a little duel with you!” 

“A duel?” 

“Exactly!” 

Until the director yelled “Cut!“, she had to keep on acting 

“You expect me to believe that?” 

“Believe it or not, that’s the truth!” 

If her opponent became speechless and couldn’t keep acting, well, that wouldn’t be her problem. 

Maximus asked, “Aren’t you afraid I might kill you?” 

“I am…” 

“And you still have the guts to trick me?” 

Tm just telling the truth. Please forgive me!” 

Maximus was at a loss for words, bereft of a script to follow. 

However, being rendered speechless by such a young actress would be an unbearable blow to his pride as the star of the show. 

He had to maintain his performance, so abruptly he flicked his sword, dislodging Stephanie’s mask. 

A flash of surprise appeared on Stephanie’s face. 

Quickly making a decision, she released her flowing locks. 

With an enticing gaze, she locked eyes with Maximus and asserted, “Hero… I’m a maiden, did you know that?” 

Maximus mouth twitched, “What of it if you’re a maiden?” 

“A gallant hero like you should show tenderness towards maidens- 

“The more captivating the woman the more malignant her intentions. That’s a lesson I learned from my late mother.” 

Stephanie intervened, “Hero, that doesn’t hold true universally. In this vast world filled with women, are all the ravishing ones inherently cruel?” 

“Are they not?” 

“First of all, thank you for praising my beauty… Secondly, I’m not cruel at all. I can’t even bring myself to kill an anti” 

Maximus felt that if the conversation continued this way, he would really be left speechless. 

So he simply said, “Just go!” 

“Thank you for sparing my life!” 

With that, Stephanie turned to leave. 

Maximus also sheathed his sword 

Just when he thought the scene was over, the little girl who had just walked away suddenly performed a flying kick using the force of the wire, landing it directly on Maximus’s forehead, 

Maximus was completely stunned. 

The director burst out laughing. “Hahaha, Maximus, you didn’t see that coming, did you? This little girl is really gutsy!” 

Of course a killer would seize every opportunity! 

Stephanie had established her role perfectly 

Being able to define one’s own character without a script is quite an achievement. 

Maximus laughed, “Well I’m getting old It’s another generation’s world now.” 

Stephanie immediately said, “No, no. How could you say that? You look so young“” 

Maximus shaked his head and smiled.
