Chapter 416 

“I swear I didn’t mean to trick you… I need to see her in ten minutes! Otherwise, forget about ever seeing Ashley or your daughter!” 

Oh, my God! 

If he’d known that threatening Sebastian with Stephanie would work this well, he wouldn’t have wasted hours fooling around with this girl! 

“Fine, Sebastian, I trust you this time! But something’s off with your voice. Don’t tell me, have you been poisoned?” 

Sebastian’s forehead veins were throbbing “Enough chitchat. Hand the phone to Stephanie.” 

“Alright, but if you can’t deliver on your promise, I, Jeffrey Perez, will hunt you down!” 

The phone was handed back to Stephanie. With teary eyes, she yelled into the phone, “Silver Fox, Jeffrey Perez is crossing the line. I didn’t mean to miss your birthday, he kidnapped me. He threatened our driver’s life, forcing me to reveal my teacher’s whereabouts.” 

“There, there, I don’t blame you.. Have the driver send you home immediately. I’ll wait for you there.” 

“Eh? Back to my place?” 

“Yes” 

“Alright, Silver Fox, wait for me. I have a gift for you.” 

Sebastian’s heart melted at her words. 

In this filthy world, Stephanie was a pure light that illuminated his heart. 

“Is it… the watch?” 

“Yes! I thought Silver Fox would look good in it. I know you saw it when I bought it, so it’s not a surprise anymore. But Silver Fox, could you pretend to be surprised when ! give it to you…?” I’ve been working so hard for this watch, and I still haven’t paid off the debt. 

“Alright… I’ll wait at your place… Stephanie, don’t make me wait too long ” 

After hanging up, Sebastian lay in the back seat, drained. 

He wished he could hold this little girl in his arms right now. 

Unfortunately, he had to wait a while longer. 

Before Jeffrey Perez got out of the car, Stephanie gave him a hard kick in the butt. 

And she snarled, “Asshole, you’ll pay for this!” 

Jeffrey Perez rubbed his sore butt as he watched the car drive away, a bitter smile on his face. 

Now he’s really pissed off Ashley’s only disciple… 

Unable to suppress a yawn, he looked around at the pitch–black surroundings. As the cold wind blew, he couldn’t help but feel a bit childish. 

Instead of going home to sleep, he’d spent half the night dealing with a little girl. 

But if Sebastian kept his word and lets him see Ashley tomorrow, it would be worth it. 

As soon as Stephanie got out of the car, she sprinted into the alley. 

She didn’t know if Silver Fox was there yet. 

As she ran, she glanced at the time on her watch. 

Three minutes till midnight! 

She’ll be able to wish Silver Fox a happy birthday and put the gift on his wrist. 

Stephanie!

In the end, she ran straight into danger 

Twice now, she’s opened her home to the enemy. Stephanie was on the verge of a breakdown. 

When she got to front door, she saw Sebastian’s figure leaning against the fence outside her house. Before Stephanie could call out to Silver Fox, she heard Sebastian say in a low voice, “Open the door.” Stephanie obediently opened the gate, then went into the yard and opened the house door. 

Then she turned on the light inside. When she turned back around, she saw Sebastian, his eyes red, striding in. 

He was heading straight towards her.
