Marilyn Bishop firmly took the vegetables from Stephanie Bishop’s hands, not giving Stephanie a chance to persist 

Stephanie sighed helplessly and washed her hands at the tap in the yard. After drying her hands, she went into the house and brought out a plate of nuts. She sat down on the low stool her mother had been sitting on earlier and placed the plate on her lap, saying. “Silver Fox, wanna try some nuts?” 

Sebastian Ingram silently locked at her simple outfit, which matched the surrounding environment well 

Her face seemed a bit flushed, as if she had just been in the sun. 

But every time he looked at her, the most striking thing was her beautiful eyes. 

He shook his head, “No, thanks” 

“Ha, Silver Fox, don’t tell me you can’t eat them? Haven’t you ever had nuts before? How about pistachios, do you know how to eat it?” 

“What? No! Sebastian exclaimed 

Hahaha, Mom, Silver Fox can’t eat nuts. How on earth did he grow up!” 

From the kitchen direction, Marilyn’s fierce voice immediately came, “You little brat, why are you making fun of Seb? He’s our guest today. You’re laughing at him the first time he’s here! If he doesnt know how to peel the nuts, you do it for him!” 

Stephanie’s smile stiffened, and she complained, “Mom, are you trying to kill me?” 

“Just do as I say, less talking! It’s Seb’s first time here, and make sure you treat him well “ 

“Hoha, it’s not the first time. It’s actually his second time.” 

Marilyn was surprised, “Second time?” 

The first time he came, he slept with your daughter. Would you still be this nice to him if you knew? 

Stephanie couldn’t be bothered to burst her mom’s bubble 

Sebastian looked at her with complicated eyes, remaining silent. 

Stephanie glanced back at him and pouted, “It’s fine. Mom, you keep cooking. Il take care of him.” 

Then she began peeling nuts for Sebastian. 

After peeling a few, she handed them to Sebastian. 

He felt a bit awkward. Looking at her hand in front of him, he couldn’t help saying, “Eat them yourself.” 

“C’mon, Silver Fox, I personally peeled these for you. Have a taste first. If you like it, I’ll peel some more for you.” 

Sebastian, seeing her insistence, took the nuts 

Has he caten nuts before? 

It seemed like he had in his memory. When he was a child, his mother had peeled some for him too. 

But he could no longer remember the taste. 

Seeing that he ate one, Stephanie inexplicably felt more at ease. 

The two didn’t talk, but quietly peeled and ate the nuts, creating a harmonious atmosphere 

Marilyn occasionally looked up and glanced outside, her mouth curling up into a smile she couldn’t suppress 

After all these years, there was finally a new member in the family 

As long as Stephanie had someone to take care of her in the future, she would be content 

Sebastian’s mouth was getting dry from all the nuts, so he took a sip of the water that Marilyn had poured for him earlier. 

“Stop peeling. I’m not eating anymore” 

“Haha, you must be thirsty from the nuts! Have some water to quench your thirst.* 

“Okay”
