Chapter 173 

When asking for help, she was all sweet and nice, but couldn’t keep her promises afterward. 

Stephanie quitily said, “Silver Fox, 1 didn’t intentionally skip making you dinner last week Thad a school assignment and studied for a week. I just got back to school last night” “Stephanie, weren’t you acting all tough when you were drunk last time? Now you are all timid once you sober up?” 

“Ah, after getting drunk?” 

Looks like you completely forgotten your words!” 

“Haha, did I call you when I was drunk last night, Silver Fox? What did I say? Please don’t take it to heart. I tend to talk nonsense when I’m drunk. If I said anything offensive, please don’t take it personally!” 

Sebastian twitched the corner of his mouth, “Stephanie, are you telling me you’re in trouble again and want my help?” 

Uh, Silver Fox, why would you say that? Can’t I just call and chat with you without any reason?” 

What’s there to chat about? He’s seen right through her–nice when she needs help, a whole different person when she doesn’t! So cocky! 

“Silver Fox, have you eaten yet?” 

“Why, should I wait for you to make me food and starve to death?” 

Then, are you off work yet?” 

‘Not yet!” 

“To make up for not making you dinner last week, I’ll come over and cook for you right now!” 

“No need “Who cares about her cooking? 

“No way, I have to keep my promises. Even if I start filming later, I’ll make time to cook for you at your place!” 

She just got scared by Ms. Nelson’s words, so she urgently needed her Silver Fox to be her steady rock! 

Otherwise, if there are more troubles later, she, a small role with no connections, and the Klein family watching her like a hawk, wouldn’t be able to handle it! 

But Sebastian was different. As long as he’s willing to protect her, shell be safe. So she has to find ways to be good to him- even with just cooking a meal! 

This way, she won’t need to beg for help later. She hopes hell completely treat her like his own family and protect her. Then she’d have nothing to fear, and she could protect Ashley and Emily too 

Plus, Ms. Nelson just told her to talk to the person behind her about Ashley’s situation, and she’s still debating whether to tell him or not. 

Sebastian indifferently said, “Suit yourself!” 

He didn’t care anymore! After saying that, Sebastian hung up. 

Stephanie, with her phone hung up, stood there blankly for a moment, then pouted, “Humph, what’s the big deal!” 

Stephanie still put away her phone and went to the school gate. Instead of waiting for a driver, she took a taxi and said Sebastian’s address. 

On the way, she told Gillian she was going to Silver Fox’s place. Gillian understood that she was going to ask him for help with the assistant issue. She just reminded her to be careful on the ride back Then Gillian went to have dinner with Maddie in the school cafeteria. 

Knowing that Stephanie went to ask her boyfriend for help with the assistant matter, Maddie frowned, “You guys don’t treat me like a friend, huh! It’s such a small matter, is it worth asking for help! You could have just left it to me!”
