Ashley wryly smiled and said, “I’m not that famous anymore. In fact, even if I become your teacher, apart from teaching you some things, I can’t help you with anything else I’ve lost contact with some of my connections in the industry, and they might even think I’m already dead” 

That doesnt matter, Ms Morris I dont know what you’ve gone through, but everything will get better in the future! 

My mom used to be as pessimistic as you always afraid something bad would happen to her, and I’d be left alone. But in the end, we got through it, didn’t we? As long as were alive, we must be full of hope! Well all be fine in the future” Said Stephanie. 

Ashley feh as if a glimmer of light had illuminated her gloomy life. That light was very warm. 

When the two of them came out of the room, the atmosphere between them was especially good. 

Stephanie excitedly ran to Gillian and jumped around gleefully, said, “Gillian, Ms. Morris accepted me as a student! I have an award–winning actress as my mentor now!” 

Gillian’s eyes it up, and she sincerely congratulated her, “Oh my God! Congrats, Steph!” 

Over the past few days, she had witnessed Ashley’s superb acting skills and had learned quite a few useful things 

The two of them were initially not confident about their first acting job, but now they were confident in doing well. 

All this had happened in just a week, which was more than enough to show how awesome Ashley was. Even learning a little bit from her was enough to prepare them to take on a role 

Seeing how genuinely happy Stephanie was, Ashley couldn’t help but smile and said, “Alright, let’s eat first. After eating. I walk you guys down. Remember not to tell anyone that I’m your mentor, okay? Otherwise, it’ll bring you trouble. Got it? 

Stephanie nodded and said, ‘Don’t worry, Ms. Morris! I promise I won’t say anything!” 

Gillian took it seriously, “Don’t worry! I’ll keep it a secret too!” 

“Gillian, you’re a good girl too. Said Ashley. 

“Ms. Morris, you can rest assured that I’m not jealous at all! I’ve grown up with Steph, so I know how great she is! You have such a good eye for choosing her as your student!” 

Ashley couldn’t help but laugh and said. “She’s just more compatible with me” 

Before they left, Stephanie hugged Emily and kissed her, saying, “Emily, I have to go now, but I’ll definitely come back to see you when I have time! Your mom is now my mentor, so you’re my yound sister! You have to call me senior sister, okay? Let’s carry on your mom’s acting legacy and let the whole world know that I’m Ashley’s proudest student, and you’re her most beloved daughter!” 

Even though it was meant to amuse Emily, Ashley’s eyes filled with tears upon hearing it 

Emily, to everyone’s surprise, actually showed a hint of a smile in her eyes. She uttered, “Okay!” 

The three adults present were shocked! 

“Oh my God! Emily actually spoke!” 

“Good job, Emily! Say it again?” 

“Emily, call me senior sister, please?” 

But Emily didn’t say anything else. It was as if her response earlier was just their imagination. 

With complicated emotions, Ashley wiped her tears and said, “Steph, Emily has accepted you!” 

Stephanie looked delighted, I’m so honored! I’m the first person Emily has accepted apart from you, Ms. Morris!” 

“You get along well with Emily “Said Ashley 

“And with you too. Don’t worry, from now on Emily is my sister, and I’ll do everything I can to protect her forever!” Said Stephanie.
