Pfft! I don’t need to Said Stephanie 

Did she really need to sell herself for a role? 

If that was the case, she’d rather not take the part 

Hanging up the phone, Gillian felt a mocking gaze on her 

With a bitter smile, Gillian asked, “Maddie, what are you doing?” 

Maddie snorted, “You’re actually supporting this? What do you think Steph is?” 

“What do you mean? He’s her boyfriend. Said Gillian 

“And an older man, right? I just heard Steph call him Silver Fox! Gillian, tell me the truth, is Steph being kept by someone?” Asked Maddie 

“Goodness! Maddie, what are you thinking? Do you think Steph looks like the type to be okay with being kept? He’s her fiancé! The man who’s going to marry her! He’s not that old, in fact.. he’s still young and handsome! Steph likes to call him Silver Fox, but he’s not exactly a real Silver Fox!” Said Gillian, 

Maddie was still suspicious. You’re not lying to me, are you?” 

“Do I need to lie to you? Plus, Steph’s mom knows about this. If her daughter was being kept, do you think a mother would calmly accept that? Maddie, are you looking down on our Steph?” Said Gillian 

“No! I’m just worried about her. If she really is being kept, I’ll give her as much money as they do! Anyway, Steph can’t be kept by someonel” Said Maddie.. 

“Okay alright you are rich and you’ve got money! We poor people can only become rich when kept by someone!” Said Gillian 

“Gillian, what’s wrong with you? I’m just concerned about Steph… And look at the school forum, the rumors have gotten out of hand! They say our Steph left school in a luxury car, possibly being kept by a rich man, they’re making it sound so rude! After overhearing you guys, isn’t it natural for me to worry and ask more questions?” Said Maddie. 

Gillian’s attention was caught by Maddie’s words, and said frowning the brows, “On the school forum? Let me check.” 

Maddie immediately brought up the post she had accidentally seen earlier. After reading it, Gillian was simply furious 

Gillian lost the appetite for dinner. Together with Maddie, they created a dozen anonymous accounts and personally fought those commenters who were slandering them. 

It stirred up an unprecedented buzz on the school forum…. 

Eventually, even the school teachers were alarmed. They asked them to delete the posts, stop spreading rumors, and not engage in online fights! 

But the suspicion about Stephanie being kept was still being spread by many people as if it were true. 

All of this was unknown to Stephanie 

She was still busy in Sebastian’s kitchen! 

Judith was her sous–chet, and she was the head chef. 

Intually Judith had thought this girl looked very young and probably couldn’t cook. 

But to her surprise, the moment she showed her skills, it was clear that she was a cooking expert. 

She could tell that Stephanie cooked a lot in her daily life 

Judith thought that her boss was truly blessed, as his future wife was a beauty and good cook at the same time! 

From her efficient and skillful cooking, you couldn’t see any hint of arrogance 

At the Skyline Corporation CEO’s office, Martin reported to Sebastian as usual. After listening carefully, Sebastian nodded and asked. “Haven’t you told Stephanie that my private lounge is 

off limits?”
