Chapter 290 Willing to Do Her Best
After Nova nodded, Kelly said a few more words to her and then left
In the office, some people lowered their heads to work, while others greeted Nova with a smile. Nova was
easy–going, but she was indeed reticent as Kelly had said.
Kara looked at her and said softly, “Ms. Bush, I know you’re a member of the Bush family, but I will not give you any special
treatment in my department because of your status. Even if your cousin had not given that order, I would not give you extra help
either. I hope you can understand.”
Kara was professional and strict at work. As she had said, she had never given anyone special treatment or been prejudiced
against people. And she always concerned herself with facts instead of individuals.
Nova naturally nodded, “I understand.”
Nova was not arrogant or impetuous but was quite modest, so Kara had a good impression of her. Then, she
looked at everyone and said, “Go back to work.”
After everyone responded, she left.
When hesitating about how to deal with Nova, the deputy manager Tina suddenly received a text message. So, she immediately

Kelly nodded with a smile and said softly, “Yes, I do need you to do me a favor.”
Tina hurriedly said respectfully, “Please go ahead. I will do my
best.”
Kelly chuckled, “It’s not a difficult thing, so you don’t need to put too much pressure on yourself.”

Tina breathed a sigh of relief but felt a little excited.
She had never been to Kelly’s office before. In the past, Kelly had always contacted Kara for work. Tina was the second in
command in her department, so she barely had any dealings with Kelly. Today, she finally got a
chance to curry favor with the chairman’s daughter, so she was happy!
“Okay! Please tell me.” Tina sounded extremely respectful.
Kelly nodded, “Nova came to the company to harden herself. But I’m afraid some employees will offer to help her with her work
to please her. Ms. Black is always busy. Tina, I hope you can assign some difficult tasks to her. After all, she will manage the
Bush Group in the future. If she is not capable enough, the company will get in
trouble.”
