Chapter 1221
Chapter 1221 Third Phase Grandmaster
In a moment, an elderly figure entered through the door. Dressed in white with gray hair, he appeared to be a hundred years old. The wrinkles on his face resembled the bark of an ancient tree, and his long hair trailed on the ground. At a glance, it was impossible to tell whether he was male or female.
The disciple from the Raven Sect standing next to him pointed at Alex. "This is the punk who wants to annihilate the secret world. He's already killed two leaders from the four main sects, and now he's after Master Snyder. He's trying to wipe out everyone in the secret world!"
Lying on the ground, barely alive, Hadriel smiled faintly as he saw who had just arrived. He had finally lived long enough to see the arrival of this Grandmaster, Damon Bach.
There's no way Alex can get away this time. It's just a shame that b*tch, Wanda, managed to run off. Otherwise, I would have made sure to tear these two treacherous lovers into a thousand pieces and feed them to the fish.
Now, Alex understood that the old man who had arrived was indeed the elder of the Raven Sect. The strong aura emanating from him was enough for one to discern that he had already reached the third phase of the Grandmaster realm.
Meanwhile, Alex was merely a grandmaster. It was already a bit of a struggle to take down those first-phase Grandmasters, let alone those in the second phase. How much more difficult would it be to deal with someone whose Realm far exceeds ours?
At this moment, Damon's gaze fell on Alex, his eyes containing a scrutinizing look. Even though he had lived for over a hundred years, he never expected that the one causing trouble in the secret world would be such a young chap.
"Do you really intend to wipe out the secret world completely? Who gave you the audacity to even think that?" he demanded in a deep voice.
From just a single statement, Alex felt an immense pressure, as if a force from above was relentlessly pushing him down on his knees. Even so, he stood straight as a rod, refusing to kneel before the elderly man in front of him no matter what.
Even the ground beneath him gradually began to sink, with the concrete floor nearly engulfing his feet entirely.
"I've never thought of driving the people of the secret forces to extinction. It's just that I can't stand their domineering and nefarious ways in the real world. Why should martial artists plunder the hard-earned results of ordinary mortals? You may be powerful, but does that mean we don't get to fight back? Even if I die here today, I'll seek justice for those from the real world and show you that we're not a force to be reckoned with," Alex replied boldly, looking Damon in the eye with unwavering determination.
Hadriel had regained some strength by now, so he got up and walked over to Damon, kneeling before
him.
"I'm glad you're finally here, Mr. Bach. The situation is not as he describes it. We of the secret world have done nothing to those from the real world. In fact, they willingly revere us as immortals, but this young man here just loves stirring up trouble. Don't listen to his nonsense any longer, Mr. Bach. Please take action and kill him immediately!"
Damon paid Hadriel no heed, instead eyeing Alex with approval. The fact that this young man in his twenties could obtain the strength of a first-phase Grandmaster, especially in the real world devoid of Mana, was a talent that even he found himself envying

Not only that, but this lad's fearlessness in the face of danger, along with the absence of any thought of retreat when standing before me-I can tell he's bound to accomplish great things in the future! Such a gifted young man would never risk his life without gaining a full picture of the situation.
"Which sect do you belong to, young man? What is your master's name?" Damon asked, stroking his long.
white beard.
Alex had assumed that this powerful old man would kill him instantly and never expected him to ask such a question. Well, since he isn't attacking me right away, we might have a chance to turn the situation
around.
"I don't have a master. I'm just a member of the Jefferson family from Lumenopolis. I simply decided to intervene because I can't stand their actions," Alex answered truthfully.
"No master? The Jefferson family from Lumenopolis?" Damon fell into thought as he continued to stroke his beard. He had expected the young man before him to be a prodigy from some powerful sect or perhaps had a formidable master. To think that this lad is just a cultivator from the real world!
Having spent decades in seclusion within the secret world for the past few decades, he was naturally oblivious about Zachary and knew nothing about the happenings in the outside world. However, this youngster before him had thoroughly piqued his interest.
