Son-In-Law Gets an Upgrade by Mr. Adeel

Chapter 1089

Chapter 1089 Bad Company
“Uncle Stefan, Wesley sneaked into Autumn’s room late in the night instead of sleeping in his own room. He must have done
something to render Autumn unconscious in bed!” Desmond declared, pointing an accusing finger in Wesley’s direction.
Stefan’s eyes narrowed dangerously when he realized the Hernandez men were planning to flee the scene.
As they were his relatives, Stefan kept enduring their antics. He couldn’t believe they would resort to such despicable tactics to
destroy his daughter’s reputation.
“Horace, won’t you provide an explanation?” Stefan demanded angrily, his stern voice carrying a hint of authority.
It was clear that Stefan was overpowered by anger. Seeing that, Horace didn’t know how to cover things
When everyone filed into the room, Wesley knew they were there to apprehend him. Panic surged through him, causing him
to take a couple of steps backward. In his haste, he stumbled and fell to the ground. An antique vase fell out of his backpack
and shattered into pieces upon impact.
“In addition to harming Autumn, you have the audacity to steal from us as well! This is beyond unacceptable. I can’t believe
we have relatives like you!” Desmond declared furiously, his anger palpable as he witnessed the shocking sight before him.
Stefan couldn’t stand it anymore. There was a limit to anyone’s patience, and he was no exception. Autumn was his only
daughter, and they had crossed the line. Naturally, he wouldn’t let them off easily.
“Search them thoroughly and retrieve everything they have taken from the Jones family. Teach them a lesson they won’t
forget by beating them to a pulp, then throw them out. From this moment on, they are no longer considered our relatives!”

Stefan commanded his servants.
“Uncle Stefan, had I arrived a minute later, Wesley might have succeeded in his vile intentions toward Autumn. Thankfully, I
arrived in the nick of time and rescued her,” Desmond stated with pride, ensuring that his heroic act was acknowledged.
Stefan nodded in agreement, fully aware of the potential danger Wesley had posed. He acknowledged Desmond’s timely
intervention, knowing that his daughter had been spared from a dreadful fate.
“Tell me the reward you want.”
Hearing that, Desmond grew excited, Rubbing his hands, he said carefully. “Uncle Stefan, I’ve recently set my sights on a
Lamborghini. It’s cool, but my dad won’t let me buy it as he thinks it’s too expensive
Understanding his meaning, Stefan immediately handed him a card and left with a smile on his face.
Stefan felt a sense of relief as he finally rid himself of the troublesome Hernandez men. The weight on his shoulders lifted,
and his mood noticeably brightened.
Alex was flipping through a file at Four Seas Corporation when Jack arrived to report something. “Who is
it?”
“Mr. Jefferson, two men are here to see you. They claimed to be the Jones family’s relatives and came here to discuss a
collaboration with you. I didn’t want to trouble you with such menial matters, but they know a friend of mine at Horington. If
you don’t wish to meet them, I can kick them out now,” Jack told him

The Jones family’s relatives, huh? Alex’s lips curled upon hearing that. He was amused to learn that they came right after
hiring people to beat him up last night.
“Come, let’s go meet them!” Alex rose to his feet and went to Jack. Patting Jack’s shoulder, he commented, “Your friend at
Horington has bad company, huh?”
Jack was taken aback, unsure of the reason behind Alex’s statement. However, as he recollected his encounter with the
father and son duo at the entrance of Four Seas Corporation, a suspicion started to form in his mind, giving him a clue as to
why Alex had made that remark.
Without further hesitation, he quickened his steps to follow Alex downstairs.
