Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 7
Chapter 7
It was a pity that her good father never felt this way. On the contrary, he felt that he had wronged Annie and her daughter, but he never felt sorry for his first wife in the underworld!
Victoria did not want to see the deep love between them anymore. She turned around and was about to leave.
Bruce roared angrily behind her, “Victoria! Do you still care about me, your father?”
Victoria did not look back, but her voice was a little bitter. “Do you care about me, your daughter?”
Ever since the new mother and daughter pair entered the door, Bruce had never given Victoria a good look.
Even if today was her birthday, he had never remembered it.
Victoria felt wronged in her heart, yet she held her head high, refusing to let anyone look down on her.
She didn’t tell anyone about her marriage with Matthew. Even their families didn’t know about it.
This marriage was only tied to the two of them.
Victoria couldn’t remember why they got married back then. He obviously hated her so much, but he still married her….
So much so that in the three years of marriage, no one knew that they were husband and wife except her and Matthew.
She is still living in South Manor. She thought that she could leave this suffocating home after getting married and had her own family, but she didn’t.
expect…
Victoria shut herself in the room, tightly closing the door behind her. Leaning against the wall, she slowly slid down until she was in a seated position, wrapping her knees as she sighed softly.
The night was oppressive, and her heart was heavy with profound fatigue. She couldn’t comprehend why she was still persevering.
Under the night sky, Fifth Avenue was like a quiet long dragon winding.
The handsome man sat in the back seat of the luxury car, gazing at the diminishing shadow in the rearview mirror until Victoria’s figure was no longer visible, then he looked away.
The long fingers with distinct joints rubbed the space between his eyebrows and the man said lightly, “Go back to Cloud Nine.”
Inside the private room.
The lively atmosphere had yet to disperse, but Anya was obviously not as excited as before.
Because Matthew had promised to come to her birthday party, she did not go back to celebrate with her parents. She did not expect that it would be destroyed by this bitch Victoria!
“Anya, Mr. Shadwell is back!”
It was unknown who shouted this, but Anya was stunned for a moment. Then, a look of surprise appeared in her eyes. “Mr. Shadwell?”
She hurriedly ran out and happened to meet the man who had turned his head back.
He wore a crisp white shirt that accentuated his broad shoulders and long legs, while exuding a gentle and restrained aura.
His face was exquisitely handsome, as if it had been carved by a knife and axe. Every feature was perfect, from the meticulous lines of his lower jaw to the neat and cold shadow that fell on his profile, making it look three–dimensional. His deep eyebrows were framed by the hair on his forehead.
It was a perfect male body.
“I thought you wouldn’t come back…” Anya was overwhelmed with emotions.
However, Matthew ignored her attentiveness and walked to the private room to look around.
Seeing that he seemed to be looking for something, Anya was somewhat puzzled. “Did you leave something there?”
Matthew did not respond and walked to the previous sofa.
The fishy smell had been diluted by the sweetness of the cake. No one knew what he had pressed Victoria to do here a few hours ago.
A metallic luster flashed in front of his eyes. Matthew saw the thermos cup quietly lying there. His long legs crossed Anya and he bent over to pick it
- up.
Anya followed behind him and frowned. She asked in confusion, “Who threw this here?”
How could someone throw this here?
Matthew didn’t say anything. He put one hand in his trouser pocket and exuded an aura that repelled people thousands of miles away.
He didn’t say a word and walked past Anya..
