Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Chapter 29
On the day of the interview, Victoria went to Golden Law Firm alone.
Golden Law Firm’s division was not far from A University, so it was very convenient.
Around twenty people attended this gathering, and they were all booked into the same hotel.
After a night of rest, they headed straight to the law office for the interview the following day.
The interview was conducted over two days, with ten people per day five in the morning and five in the afternoon – and the same procedure was carried out in other cities. From these interviewees, the six most outstanding and brilliant people were chosen to participate in the final program.
A total of four senior lawyers from the law firm three men and one woman conducted the interview.
Victoria thought that this interview would be very serious, but she did not expect that the interviewers were all very easy–going.
She performed well, and it was obvious that the interviewer was very satisfied with her.
Especially the female lawyer called Helen, who was very optimistic about her.
“There aren’t many female lawyers in our office, so I took a look at your academic results. You seem to have always been the top student, and your grades are very impressive…”
A male lawyer next to her flipped through Victoria’s resume, frowned, and continued, “But you don’t seem to be from the specific major?”
Victoria nodded and replied earnestly, “I switched to a Law major during my university studies.”
This made the other lawyers change their expressions and look at each other.
In a place like Golden Law Firm, the requirements for her background was very high.
In the end, it was the female lawyer who tried to smooth things over. “We prioritize people’s abilities and potential above all else. Generally, we may be more likely to consider those with a strong background. But since you have the capacity and the criteria even though you just switched to Law, it implies that you still have the potential to be eligible for our position.”
Another male lawyer smiled. He suddenly looked at Victoria and asked, “Have you got a boyfriend?”
“Sorry, this is my privacy. Victoria was stunned and pursed her lips.
“You don’t need to be nervous. We are just asking
The man asked her. “A girl as beautiful as you should have a lot of suitors.”
“I hope to spend most of my time on my studies. I believe you should have seen it as well. I am not a Law major student from scratch. My background is weaker than other students, so I want to make up for my shortcomings as much as possible…”
It could be seen that the other three lawyers were very satisfied with Victoria. However, this male lawyer never stopped. questioning her. “You explained so much in a roundabout way, but you still did not answer my question directly…”
“Why does she have to answer you?”
Another female lawyer suddenly said in a bad mood, “I interviewed so many male students before, why didn’t you ask them this question?”
“I’m just asking about her information to know her better…”
“I’m married too. I have a child too. Why don’t you ask me?”
The atmosphere was a little tense.
Since she had said so, the male lawyer did not say anything else.
The others tried to smooth things over and said, “Alright, we already understand your basic situation. You can go back first and wait for the results.”
Victoria nodded and got up to leave.
When she walked out of the examination room, someone immediately came up to her and asked, “How is it? Is the interviewer strict?”
“It should depends,” Victoria shook her head.
“Oh…” Hearing this, the girl seemed to be a little disappointed.
After a while, she said to her, “You also seem to be from A University, right?”
“Yes.”
Chapter 299
After the interview, we will get together to compare notes. Do you want to come over? They are all from A University.” Before Victoria could speak, she heard a familiar voice with a strong irony-
“She doesn’t even want to tell you whether the interviewer is strict or not. Do you expect her to come?”
