Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 23
Chapter 23
An elegantly decorated restaurant.
The lights were high–class and the privacy was excellent.
Victoria arrived on time and saw a young woman sitting there and drinking tea gracefully from afar.
Under the guidance of the waiter, she walked to her and sat down. “Have you been waiting for a long time?”
When the woman heard this, she raised her head and looked at her. She smiled and said, “I am used to waiting for others.”
Three years ago, it was this woman who found Victoria and wanted to use the child in her belly to make a deal with her.
Victoria nodded. Seeing that she had already ordered a cup of coffee, she asked the waiter to serve her the same cup. Then, she said frankly, “Miss Moss, I want to talk to you about what happened back then.”
“I guessed it. The moment you contacted me, I knew what you wanted to do.” Zofia Moss smiled faintly.
“Then let’s be direct…”
“About the child I gave birth to… Can I tell Matthew the truth?” Victoria took a deep breath.
“It was clearly written in the agreement we signed back then. Miss Nelson, whether it was me or Madam Shadwell, neither of us wanted to see such a thing happen, especially to let Matthew know the truth. This is very troublesome for us.”
“But he has always misunderstood me. He thought that I gave birth to someone else’s child…”
“Miss Nelson, three years ago, when you asked us for help, you should have known that there would be such a day.”
“You left the bankrupt him and even gave birth to a kid. Naturally, Matthew will not love you again. At least, he will not love you as much as he used
to.”
Victoria pursed her lips and did not say a word.
“I know you love him very much. Otherwise, you would not have made such a big sacrifice to protect him. But since you have already made your choice, you must bear the consequences.”
“Victoria, you have deep feelings for him. Even if the decision you made at the start would make him no longer love you, you still went through with it. So don’t regret it so quickly now. There’s no remedy for regret in this world.”
After saying that, she got up and was about to leave.
Victoria shouted from behind her with a hoarse voice, “Wait…”
“I won’t tell him, but… can I see the child?” Her hand on the dining table trembled slightly.
Zofia frowned.
According to the rules, she should refuse.
However, looking at Victoria’s pale face now, as a woman, she still had a faint sense of compassion.
That was indeed the child that Victoria had given birth to after ten months of pregnancy
If it was just a glance, it would not affect their plan.
“Yes, but we can’t let Madam Shadwell know about this.” Zofia sighed.
“Thank you, Miss Moss!” Victoria’s eyes lit up.
At the airport in the suburbs of Belkan City.
In a small building in the distance.
Zofia walked to the door and went to check the password. Victoria turned her head away to avoid suspicion.
Zofia said, “You are lucky. I have a mission back home this time. You can only contact me. Madam Shadwell happened to be on a vacation in Europe, so she gave me Albi
“Albi?”
“Is this his name?” Victoria murmured.
“Yes, Madam Shadwell named him Albi Shadwell.”
“Albi Shadwell…”
“Madam Shadwell declared it was natural selection. She wished that the Shadwell family’s progeny are all paragons among mankind. Hence the name starting with A, meaning the top.”

“Yes, it’s a good name,” Victoria replied.
The door was opened…
She held her breath for a moment and looked in expectantly.
