Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 16
Chapter 16
The man couldn’t help but scream and fell to the ground in fear.
The expected pain did not appear, and he felt the blast of air that was about to hit him, but the body of the car stopped abruptly.
There was a loud bang!
The huge brake sound was like an explosion, shaking people’s eardrums.
Victoria fell to the side, her ears ringing from the sound waves. A sharp pain came from her ear and rushed through her brain like an electric current.
She seemed to wake up a little and saw the bright headlights of the car shining in her eyes.
“Oh…”
She felt uncomfortable and put her hand over her eyelids.
By the side, Jax had already been frightened to the point of collapsing onto the steps, not having the time to care about her.
He stared fixedly at the car right in front of him, as if he had just gone through a life–and–death ordeal, feeling as if he had narrowly escaped calamity.
Victoria had no one to turn to, and just stood there on the steps, her mouth slightly agape, like a child who was bewildered. “The floor is so chilly…”
There was a bang.
It was the sound of the door closing
A pair of long legs wrapped in trousers got out of the car-
He was obviously very tall, and Victoria could only see the man’s knee.
She looked up slowly, and only then could she vaguely see the handsome but gloomy handsome face.
The man’s face was terribly gloomy, and his gaze was oppressive.
He only glanced at the woman on the ground. Seeing that Victoria’s clothes were intact and did not seem to be taken advantage of, he retracted his
gaze
But his expression did not improve.
He strode directly to Jax, seized his collar, and effortlessly hoisted him up. He snickered softly, “Does she fancy a handsome lad like you now?”
Before Jax could figure out the situation, he had already left the ground.
Just as he was about to speak, the man punched him.
“Oh…”
This punch was too powerful.
Jax had practiced boxing before. Although his face was very small, his physical strength was not weak at all.
However, after being punched by the man, he actually did not have the strength to fight back. His mind was buzzing, and he felt like he was going to
have a concussion.
As the one who did it, Matthew was too calm.
It seemed like he was not the one who drove the car and hit her.
He rubbed his wrist and asked, “Just now, which hand touched her?”
There was even a smile on his lips, but this smile was more terrifying than anger, and there was only coldness in his eyes.
Jax did not dare to speak at all.
He was afraid that as soon as he spoke, this man would take off his arms!
“Not telling?”
Matthew looked at him with a smirk. The chill in his eyes intensified. His once handsome face now resembled a demon from hell. “If you don’t speak up, you’ll lose both hands. Is that what you want?”
Seeing that the man’s fist was about to hit him, Jax was so scared that his legs went soft. “Don’t, don’t hit me!”
“Didi!”
A sudden whistle sounded.
Sarah drove her flashy red Maserati over from the parking lot and frowned. “Matthew, why did you hit my bodyguard for no reason?”
As soon as he heard Sarah’s voice, Jax knew that he could be saved.
With a sullen face, he shouted, “Miss Scott, this is considered a work injury?”

Sarah quickly unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the car.
She first glanced at Victoria.
This woman was still sitting foolishly on the steps. Her eyes were empty and she had no idea what was happening in front of her….
She heaved a sigh of relief and quickly walked in front of Matthew. “This is my bodyguard. He sent Victoria home. Why did you attack him?”
