Sir, Let’s Divorce Chapter 13
Chapter 13
The two of them returned to the private room one after the other. Anya immediately looked over. “Mr. Shadwell? You’re back!”
She smiled sweetly at Matthew, but her gaze was somewhat wary as she sized up Victoria.
After all, they were in the bathroom together just now. She didn’t know what had happened. Did Victoria hook up with Matthew?
What happened last night at the KTV made Anya brood over it. She always felt that Victoria wanted to snatch him away.
Matthew sat down next to Anya. He no longer had the patience he had before, and he did everything indifferently.
No matter how much Anya tried to please him, his attitude was very perfunctory, and he looked absent–minded.
Anya gritted her teeth, put down the knife and fork in her hand, and looked at Victoria who was facing her angrily.
This woman must have done something fishy again!
If she had known earlier, she would have gone to the bathroom to take a look. She shouldn’t have given them space to be alone!
After the meal, Justin suggested sending Victoria back to school.
Victoria was in a hurry to get rid of Matthew and nodded. “I happen to have some information in the dormitory. Thank you, Teacher Chow.”
“It’s a piece of cake.”
“Mr. Shadwell, are you going back to your place or my house?” Anya asked as she looked at Victoria.
“Where do you want to go?” Matthew asked, his eyes on Victoria.
Anya thought that he was talking to her. She said shyly, “Anywhere you want to go…
Victoria could no longer bear to listen and got into the car.
She did not even dare to see Matthew’s reaction.
After three years of marriage, he had trampled on her bottom line several times. She could only endure it. She knew that he hated her.
But since he was willing to marry her, Victoria thought that he still had her in his heart. She wanted to wait for a long time before Matthew would see her sincerity.
She couldn’t explain those things.
She and Matthew had been together for so long that she couldn’t believe he wouldn’t be able to sense her struggles.
Only now did she feel that she was wrong
She did not know how long she could hold on. Looking at Matthew changing women one by one, she felt like she was being cut by a knife. But now, she only had the thought of running away.
Justin had long noticed that something was wrong with her.
When he drove to the gas station, he opened the window and asked her, “How did you meet those two people?”
Victoria forced down the tears in her eyes and politely replied, “Anya is my father’s stepdaughter, Matthew…”
She thought of their secret marriage agreement and said, “A friend.”
Justin was not a gossipy person. He only saw Victoria’s pale face after he came back from the bathroom and asked, “Are they lovers?”
Victoria leaned against the window and shook her head weakly, “… I don’t know.”
“The two of them seem to be spending the night together. I thought they were lovers,” Justin said.
From the rearview mirror, he saw that Victoria had already turned her head away, not letting anyone see her current appearance. He knew what she was running away from.
The man sighed. “Victoria, you are a very outstanding student. In the future, you will also be an excellent legal practioner. You still have a wider sky. Don’t be tripped by this.”
Although he did not understand the situation, he also used to be young and could only give a few words of advice.
“Yes, I know. Thank you, Teacher Chow.” Victoria sorted out her mood and smiled at him.
When he arrived at school, Justin sent her information about the purpose of the internet program.
When Victoria saw that it was late at night, her phone suddenly rang.
“Hello?”
and the immediately put on her clothes, “I will be there soon.”
