Sir, Let’s Divorce by Victoria Nelson Chapter 43
Chapter 43
Chapter 43
Mr. Dowson obviously did not believe her. “Stop daydreaming here! You are the only one who has come out to sell. How can Mr. Shadwell like you?”
“I advise you to be tactful! Let me play and I can make you more comfortable, otherwise…”
He laughed sinisterly and pulled off the straps on Victoria’s shoulder.
Victoria almost screamed out loud-
“Let go of me!”
She struggled with her life on the line as endless regret welled up in her heart,
As long as she encountered something related to Matthew, she would no longer be like herself.
She closed her eyes and her tears kept flowing. She screamed hysterically.
Two red marks were left on Mr. Dowson’s neck, and he cursed, “Bitch!”
He grabbed a bottle of wine and slammed it on Victoria’s shoulder.
With a bang, the broken pieces broke into pieces.
The glass was broken.
Victoria couldn’t help but cry out in pain. She gritted her teeth, but this made the man in front of her even more excited.
“You are so beautiful…”
Especially when she was covered in blood.
The color of this blood was even more gorgeous than the red dress on her body, setting off her skin that was as white as a jade pendant, so beautiful that it was dazzling.
He grabbed a piece of cloth and stuffed it into Victoria’s mouth.
Victoria cried and shook her head. She only wanted to avoid him, but she was forced to hold her knee.
Her hand was behind her back, clutching something in a panic.
The fragments on the ground were scattered all over the ground. Victoria touched the fragments of a bottle of wine and suddenly clenched it in her hand. When Mr. Dowson pounced on her, she quickly raised her hand and inserted it straight into his neck.
“Ah!”
The sound being slaughtered was heard.
Mr. Dowson immediately curled up on the ground in pain, clutching his neck and shouting loudly. Blood kept gushing out, dyeing the carpet under him red.
“Bitch! Bitch! You actually… Cough…”
He spat out a mouthful of blood.
Victoria was also frightened by the scene in front of her. She quickly stood up and ran out in a panic.
She did not forget to hold the contract in her hand. She stumbled and almost fell to the ground.
“Oh my god! Why is that person covered in blood?”
“I don’t know. Did something happen?”
“Do you want to call the police?”
The people around were whispering and discussing.
Victoria could no longer hear it. Her footsteps became slower and slower, as if lead had been poured into them.
She only cared about running forward, not daring to stop, not daring to look back.
She was afraid that as long as she stopped, she would be caught and brought back. This kind of bone–deep despair, just experiencing it once was enough.
She did not know how long she had run, running until she had no strength left.
A tall shadow appeared in front of her and stopped in front of her.
“Victoria.”
Chapter 43
She heard that person call her that.
Victoria wanted to look up at him, but she had no strength. She slowly knelt on the ground as if she had lost her strength.
“Matthew…”
She still held the contract in her hand, lifted it up and handed it to him. “He has signed this project.”
Matthew did not speak, and just looked down at her.
He slowly squatted down, took the contract from her hand, looked at it, and took out a lighter to light it
There was a “hiss” sound.
The tongue of fire licked a corner of the paper and soon burned.
Victoria looked up in surprise, “You…”
“Do you really think that I really need to sell women to make business?” Matthew looked at her and smiled.
Only then did Victoria realize something, and her heart was extremely cold. “You are playing with me…”
“I really didn’t expect that you would be able to do this in order for me to reveal your position as Mrs. Shadwell.”
“Victoria, you really make me look at you in a new light. Matthew looked at her from high above, as if he was looking at a toy that could not escape from his grasp.
