all.”Winnie didn’t bother entertaining him further. Frowning, she asked Xavier, “Does Grandpa Rufus know you’re going with
me?”“I learned from you, acting first and seeking forgiveness later.”“What about your company, then?”“Why do you think I had
Louis stay so late last night?”“Is it worth it?”“It depends on you.”“In that case, I don’t think it’s worth it. You don’t need to go to
such lengths because of me—”“It’s not just because of you.” Xavier never expected her to be still troubled over the issue of
