Yulissa opened a bottle of wine and walked back and forth around the house. What should I do now? Should I come clean with

really.” Winnie gave a short answer as she did not want to talk about it. “What are you doing here? Are you leaving soon?”“No.”
Christopher drew his brows together. “I came over because I’m worried Xavier might turn aggressive. I wanted to go up to take a
look but realized the elevator uses fingerprint access control. I had no choice but to wait outside.”“Yeah, the security system in
this neighborhood is pretty solid.” Feeling a little annoyed, Winnie did not feel like entertaining Christopher.She removed the coat
and hinted, “It’s getting late now. I’ll have to return to the Garland residence with Granny soon. Here’s your coat.”Christopher was
able to read between the lines. He looked at Winnie and wanted to say something, but words caught in his throat.Before this,
Winnie had never regarded Christopher as someone who had feelings for her because he would only contact her to discuss

immediately stepped in and defused the tension. “I’m sure you didn’t lie on purpose. Winnie must have said something to you,
right? Don’t mind her. Just come in and have dinner with me.”Jacinta’s remark rendered Winnie speechless. Why is Granny
siding with an outsider?The three of them then went into the house.While Jacinta was busy setting up the table for Christopher,

“Chris is our guest. How can you let him do the job? You should serve him a bowl of mushroom soup instead. Quick.”Winnie was
