Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife

Chapter 18 by HusnaS

18. AG Group’s Downfall

“Hey, wait! Stop this instant!” The Manager sprang from his chair. “Are you crazy!?”

He pulled the lady off Heidi, but she struggled to break free. “Let me at her! Just let me destroy her the way she destroyed my dreams!”

The commotion caught the other employees’ attention and they gathered around the Manager’s office.

Heidi was lost for words. Even when the Security arrived to restrain the lady, she didn’t move.

“Ms. Olsen.” Isla tapped her.

“Argh! I have to take my vengeance! Do you know how many people I feed? Who the hell gave you permission to fire everyone as you please?”

The crazy-looking lady yelled and bawled her eyes out, sobbing loudly. ” You should be ashamed of yourself! You’re not a CEO, you’re a dream crusher!”

“Let her go.” Heidi listened to the lady’s words and her expression changed.

The Security hesitated before letting her go.

“If I’m not wrong, you’re one of the employees who got their leave letters,” Heidi continued.

“Isn’t it obvious!?” The lady screamed, eyes red.

Heidi smiled slightly, shaking her head. “You accuse me of crushing your dreams. If this job was a dream you cherished, wouldn’t you have been the best employee in StriveStyle Co. instead of mingling with the corrupt staff?”

“You!” Out of nowhere, the tip of a knife glinted and she charged at Heidi again. “Isn’t this beautiful face what you used to seduce the President? Watch as I destroy it for you!”

The other employees screamed and scrambled out of the way. Heidi dodged the first attack, and when the lady charged at her with the knife again, the police arrived.

The Manager sighed in relief because he’d been the one who summoned them way before Heidi arrived at the department. “Officers, please take the crazy lady away.”

The police left with the screaming lady and the HR Department’s Manager explained with sweat pouring down his face,

“I am so sorry you had to experience that. The employees have gone crazy. The ones you fired are currently lurking around.”

“Did she become like this because she lost her job?” Heidi’s smile didn’t go away and she looked thoughtful.

“It is precisely that. Ma’am, you have to be careful. I wanted to warn you about her not knowing that she would raid the place all of a sudden.”

“Should we withdraw their dismissal?”

“No. It will still be effective. Tighten the security around the company. Apart from the customers and workers, don’t let anyone in without confirming their identity.”

Heidi instructed the security men and they all nodded promptly.

“Mr. Clark. Please send me a detailed report from the police when it arrives,” she asked the Manager.

It was only when the work hours were over that the police report arrived.

On her way back home, her phone beeped with a message from the HR Department’s Manager.

Heidi read the report and her lips twitched at the realization of who was behind the lady’s craziness.

She put her phone aside and said to the driver, “You shouldn’t have troubled yourself, John. I could drive home myself.”

“Young Miss, if you drive home alone, I’m afraid my head is going to roll. Your grandfather has suddenly turned into a mother bear overnight.” John smiled at her through the rearview mirror and Heidi shook her head helplessly.

The car arrived inside the mansion. Heidi was on her way to join the family at the dining table when rushed footsteps came from the left wing.

“Father! Have you seen this! The matters are getting out of hand, AG Group will soon meet its downfall.”
