Chapter 89
Chapter 89 Flatterer
The dining table was filled with dishes that Kaylah liked to eat.
Kaylah was perfectly satisfied as she finished the dinner and sat at the table, rubbing
her stomach in a daze.
Roger was happy to see her like this. He stood up and said, “Eating too much can be a burden to your body. I’ll go find some
digestive tablets for you, Ms. Delgado.”
Kaylah was a little embarrassed. “Roger, I only ate digestive tablets when I was young.”
“You are still young now,” Roger said happily.
Kaylah pouted and thought to herself that she was not young. She had been married and
divorced.
She was no longer the child of the past.
But in the eyes of the elders, perhaps she would always be a child.
The feeling of being cared for by the elders was really good. Kaylah did not hesitate anymore and said sweetly, “Roger, you are
so good.”
Roger was even happier. He found Kaylah a digestive tablet and was busy preparing
fruits for her.
Zion sat on the side drinking coffee. When he saw this scene, the corners of his lips. curled up
and he turned to Kaylah. “Flatterer.”
Kaylah snorted. “But you like to listen to it.”
“Oh?” Zion’s hand paused.
Kaylah immediately rushed over. “Zion, you are the best brother in the world.”
Zion couldn’t help but the corners of his lips curved up. He suppressed his joy and said to Kaylah, “I’ll give you three times this
month’s allowance.”
Kaylah was speechless.
There was no need for that. She was not short of money.
However, Kaylah did not refuse. She enjoyed the happy time with her loved ones by her
side and did not want to move.
Only then did Zion talk to her about something else, “How do you plan to spend your birthday?”
After eating, Kaylah was a little sleepy and said in a daze, “Whatever. As long as you
don’t make it too grand, it’s fine.”
Zion frowned. “That won’t do. You are my only sister. Now that you have finally returned home, how can you keep such a low
profile?”
Kaylah came back to her senses. She knew that Zion Irad always doted on her and that he always wanted to give her the best.
Thus, she acted like a spoiled child and said, “I just want to have a wonderful birthday with my family and friends. As for the
outsiders, I don’t even want to waste my time
with them.”
Zion still frowned and seemed unsatisfied.
Kaylah said, “Zion, do you know how to keep a low profile? The glare of publicity after my return might make me be targeted.
Isn’t this not worth it?”
Zion recalled what had just happened and he became sullener.
It wasn’t perhaps. He knew that Kaylah had already been targeted.
Thinking about this, Zion thought that Kaylah’s words made sense. Kaylah had just returned home, so there was no need to be
too high–profile.
“Then I’ll hold a party for you at home. You can invite some friends to our house to have. fun. Is that okay?”
“Just hold it at home. You don’t have to be too extravagant.” Kaylah nodded.
Roger came out with a digest tablet. He had a smile on his face, but his eyes were a little.
cold.
He had just finished looking at the photos in the camera and the mobile phone used for communication had also been
deciphered. Roger found the chat record of the person behind the scenes and confirmed the person’s identity.
It was really ridiculous that an illegitimate daughter dared to hire someone to keep an
eye on Ms. Delgado.
“It’s all up to you. Leave everything to me. I guarantee that everyone will be satisfied.”
Roger said to Kaylah with a smile.
Kaylah trusted Roger’s ability and immediately nodded happily, “Then I’ll leave it to you, Roger!”
Roger and Zion looked at each other. Roger gave Zion a certain look.
Zion paused and softened his tone. “Then we’ll do as you say.”
