Chapter 113
Chapter 113 Solve the Problem
“Flower Bracelet was once sold at an auction for more than 50 million. My brother bought it and gave it to Kaylah.”
Hendry’s heart skipped a beat. He still remembered this bracelet. He had wanted to cooperate with Suey, but he failed.
He didn’t expect Aryan to have such strong social connections. He could even buy Flower Bracelet.
He even gave it to Kaylah.
Was this the reason why Kaylah agreed to be with Aryan?
Was it because Aryan was rich, or was it because Aryan was willing to spend money on
her?
That was true. In Kaylah’s eyes, Hendry was probably quite stingy because he didn’t give her a decent gift. After the divorce,
Kaylah didn’t ask for any money from him.
The more Hendry thought about it, the darker his expression became.
With a livid face, he asked, “Where does Kaylah live now?”
He had inquired about it privately before, but he could not find out. Later, he gave up. Until now, he did not know where Kaylah
lived.
Just as Alondra hesitated to give him the address, the patient in the hospital bed gently
opened her eyes.
“Alondra...”
Alondra turned around and immediately walked over. “Mom, you’re finally awake!”
“What happened to me?” Cindy asked weakly.
“You’re fine. You’ll be fine once you wake up. I’ll go find a doctor!”
The doctor came very quickly and immediately gave Cindy a physical examination.
Finally, the results showed that Cindy was depressed and in poor health, and she should stay in the hospital to recuperate.
Hendry frowned.
He learned the reason why Cindy was hospitalized. When he heard that it was because Kaylah called the police that Cindy was
angered into the hospital, he thought that Kaylah had gone too far this time.
Even if she was dissatisfied with him, she should not have vented her anger on Alondra and Cindy. Hendry thought that Kaylah
should show her respect to the elders.
Hendry looked at Cindy. “Cindy, you should rest well in the hospital. I will go out for a while. I will definitely bring Kaylah over to
apologize to you. You’d better leave the hospital when we solve this problem.”
Cindy stared at him in surprise. “No need. Kaylah doesn’t seem to have a good temper. You will be bullied if you go find her.”
Cindy looked worried about Hendry.
Hendry shook his head. “She won’t do that to me.”
Her tone was very certain.
Seeing this, Cindy laughed and in the end, she didn’t refuse. “Then sorry to trouble you. I’ll send you her address.”
“Hendry, don’t be too soft–hearted towards Kaylah. She is now my brother’s girlfriend. She may not be as polite to you as
before.”
Alondra embroidered the truth.
Hendry’s heart sank as he nodded with a cold face without saying anything. Then he
turned and left the ward.
When Hendry arrived at the residential area, he had the same feeling as Cindy.
He thought Aryan didn’t take Kaylah seriously. Otherwise, why would he let Kaylah live
in an old residential area with such poor conditions? It was quite remote and far from
the city center.
What was more, the security of this community was poor. Without even registering, he drove directly to Kaylah’s apartment
building.
The elevator was also out of repair for a long time. When Hendry came in, he found that
the elevator didn’t work. Then he directly put up a sign at the door which told everyone
to climb the stairs.
Did she live in this kind of place?
Hendry took out his phone and glanced at it, which showed that Kaylah lived on the
sixth floor.
The sixth floor was not too high. He got there easily. What about Kaylah? This was how
Aryan took care of her!
Hendry felt unsatisfied with this community. With complicated feelings, he came to Kaylah’s apartment.
He repeatedly checked the house number and confirmed that it was correct before he pressed the doorbell.
