She Cried Wolf (OLD)

Ashley:

Standing in the living room is the biggest man I’ve ever seen. Standing behind him are three more large men. I stop walking and my heart starts beating faster. Jackson notices and turns around to face me. He puts each of his hands on my cheeks and makes me look at him.

“Kitten, these are my friends. They only want to meet you. They won’t hurt you okay? I’ll make sure of it” I nod and put my forehead to his chest until my breathing slows. He kisses me gently before we continue walking. I hide myself behind him and listen as he greets each of the men.

The men are introduced as, Daniel (the guy I saw first), Micheal, Jacob, and Hayden. Eventually he pulls me from out behind him. My cheeks heat and my hands start shaking. Daniel freezes when he sees me. “Hazel” he breaths out. My head cocks in confusion. “M-my name I-is A-Ashley.” He shakes his head. I yawn and lean into Jackson’s side. Jackson looks at me and takes in my tired state. To me he says, “Let’s get you to bed kitten.”

And to the others “I’ll be back in a few minutes.” He gives me another one of his shirts for bed and I change into it before climbing into the bed. After kissing me goodnight he turns off the light. “Goodnight kitten” the male voice says in my head. I realize as I’m falling asleep that it’s been Jackson’s voice all along.
