Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 83

"You sound good. Tell him he sounded good, pretty girl."

"Please have Mr. Gulliford sing one more song."

Everyone was hinting at Jessica. Even Pamela was pushing Jessica's shoulders with widened eyes and said, "Please, Jessica. Tell him he sounded good."

Jessica knew if she were to keep quiet, she would definitely become the public's enemy. Hence, she raised her head to look at Trevor and uttered, "Please sing us another one, Mr. Gulliford." "Okay!" With that, Trevor immediately picked up the microphone and said, "Here's your encore."

Jessica helplessly pursed her lips and wondered, "When did Mr. Gulliford of Horington enjoy being admired so much?"

Nonetheless, it was undeniable that Trevor had a magnetic voice. He was on-pitch and was comparable to the singer's earlier.

Mr. Gulliford of Horington was truly a perfect and outstanding man.

Jessica subconsciously smiled when she heard his singing voice. She picked up the glass in front of her and took a sip.

The taste of whiskey was very captivating for Jessica. Within those three years, she had fallen for the taste of it.

She loved the feeling of being tipsy, yet remained clear-headed even more.

Suddenly, her eyebrows furrowed as she remembered she drank five glasses of whiskey in one sitting the last time, leaving her stomach weak. Ever since then, her stomach would hurt even from one glass.

Holding on to her stomach, a painful expression appeared on her face. In order to not ruin the mood, she stood up and headed toward the restroom.

Although Trevor was still singing, his eyes were on her.

He hinted at Martin with a glance,

and the latter immediately

understood: Walking up to Trevor, he stole the microphone away and said, "I know this song too, Mr. Gulliford. Let me sing this, please. I love this song."

"Hey, how could you steal that from him?"

"Yeah! The Chairman sings it so much better, okay?"

Trevor's fangirls objected and only wanted their chairman to sing.

However, Trevor had already let go of the microphone and only had his mind on Jessica. He only wanted to sing for her.

As for Jessica, she was hiding in a corner, crouching down. Feeling the pain in her body, she looked for a cigarette and a lighter on her.

If it was said that those five years of

torture have increased her

survivability to adapt to life, then the three years of living abroad were her downfalt. Although she spiraled down secretly, she was still a loving mother in front of her children.

Every time she was by herself, only she knew that all those unprovoked demons and evil thoughts would rush up into her heart.

She had been to the hospital many times, but nothing worked.

Occasionally, she would think of harming herself, and even hurting others.

She knew something was wrong with her mentally, yet, she wasn't willing to face the truth.

"I'm just going to let myself go crazy or die if it's meant to happen. I just need to hold on for nine years and wait for the kids to go to university Until they can live on their own, S don't care how I end up. I've died so many times now. Sometimes I just want to end it for good. People always ask me why am Kafraid of saying these if I'm not even scared of death," she thought.

Jessica took out the lighter, lit the cigarette butt, and burst out laughing, thinking about it.

Sometimes, death can be easy, but living with endless pain and self-blame was the hardest.

Not far away, Trevor watched her crouched down, smoking in a corner, and pursed his lips with unbearable sadness. The next second, his eyes reddened uncontrollably.
