Chapter 80
"Does that mean I'm going to live and die in Candor Union Company?" Jessica was indignant and thought, "Isn't he being unreasonable?"
"No," Trevor answered decisively. "This has nothing to do with Candor Union Company. You're just mine. Wait for me to go back to the headquarter. You're coming with me." "What gives you the right to do that?" Jessica stomped her foot fiercely as anger filled her eyes.
"It's because I'm Trevor Gulliford," he stated. "And because you're my wife. She can blame me for being overbearing and heartless all she wants. But I'm not letting her go," he mused. "What a man you are, huh?"
Jessica nodded, upset. She sat aside with the document in her hand and panted heavily.
"Am I going to be chained to him? Or maybe I could pay him back? I doubt I can afford to, considering he might ask for millions or even billions. It's not like I have gold sitting around at home, so how am I supposed to pay him?" she wondered. Trevor turned around to sit in his office chair and would occasionally steal glances to look at Jessica.
Even though they weren't doing anything, he felt happy to just sit in a room looking at her.
Jessica was flipping through the document in her hand. It was the document of the Jackson family's collaboration. "After all these years, the Jackson family is still depending on Trevor. Jonathan's such a bum," she thought. However, she couldn't understand why Melissa suddenly become mentally ill when she was about to be engaged to Trevor.
"Melissa's such a smart girl. Could she be framed? I don't understand," she thought.
Looking at the various reports of the Jackson family, the brand of the mobile phone created by them was called "Lumi". Other than the product's design, the memory and optimization of the phone were inferior.
"I suppose someone's company is
always the exact reflection of themselves. Even the product Jonathan produced is exactly like him: flashy but useless. If it wasn't for his looks, he couldn't even match up with the Queen family if he only reffed on his capabilities. This ungrateful brat! I'll teach him a
lesson," Jessica thought, furious.
As she looked at the words on the paper in her hands, her eyes fell on the word in the middle that wrote: IPC touch screen technology.
"What's IPC touch screen technology? I've never heard of this before," she thought.
She quickly found the explanation for the technology and looked at it. "Oh my gosh isn't this plagiarism? This is Miru Corp's technology! Lumi, huh? What a straightforward
approach. Not only did he steak net
another company's technology, he even based on his company's name on theirs and made it his own. So he took a photo of someone else's photo, added his brand name, and said it's his? That's utter blasphemy," she thought as her eyes widened.
She couldn't help but let out a sarcastic chuckle. Trevor raised his eyes, looked at the document in her hands and realized what she was laughing at.
"Yeah, with Jonathan's ethics, anyone who sees that is going to laugh," he figured.
Ding!
Just then, Jessica received a notification on her phone.
Trevor remained silent and looked anxious. "Who's texting my wife? Alfred?" he wondered.
Jessica looked at her phone and saw that it was from Pamela that said: "I'm sorry, Jessica. Are you okay? We were just curious earlier. Don't overthink it. If you were offended, I want to apologize." Jessica smiled and figured, "Pamela's a nice person."
She typed on her phone with her long nails and replied: "I'm fine, don't worry about it. I just wasn't feeling well."

Trevor saw the warm smile on her
face and felt irritated. "Could it really be that brat Alfred? Are they in a relationship? Or are they married? Don't tell me the husband Jessica was talking about is him?" he wondered.
