Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 135

"I don't know. I didn't see anyone."

"I think you tripped over your own two feet."

"Exactly. I didn't see anything."

The other staff members spoke coldly as they stood at the side with curiosity evident in their eyes.

Jessica knew that they did it on purpose. However, she did not know why they did it.

If it were because of Trevor, then there was no need to do such a thing.

Moreover, no one would dare to mess with people that Trevor was interested in.

Jessica stood up straight. With a frown, she turned around to leave the lounge.

Her clothes were soaked. The stain on them was incredibly obvious.

The other staff members who were walking by pointed at her and whispered to each other. Jessica wanted to get angry at them, but her anger had long dissipated.

Back at the lounge, she had wanted to fight the female staff members. She wanted to burst into anger. However, the sadness that she had hidden deep in her heart suddenly welled up within her. Emotions would sometimes hide in the darkness underneath the cliff. It was impossible to know when it would reveal itself to strike her.

The cup in her hands fell to the floor and shattered in an instant.

Jessica crouched down and leaned against the wall. It was a simple movement, but before she could regain her balance, she fell to the floor. The broken pieces of the cup cut into her skin. Blood started dripping onto the floor from the wound.

"Are you all right?"

"What happened?"

"I don't know. She was walking fine just now."

People soon started crowding

around Jessica. There were some people who walked up to her to ask her, but Jessica wrapped her arms tightly around herself. She did not

dare to look up at the crowd ot

She was afraid. She was terrified that they would laugh at her and insult her.

The trauma from previous events had settled down deep within her, including the car accident. All those events triggered all of her negative emotions.

She did not even dare to tell anyone about it. Not even Alfred or Yolanda knew.

Besides, it only ever happened when she was alone.

"What happened?" Not far away, Trevor's warm yet angry voice sounded. In the next second, he walked through the crowd. When he saw Jessica crouching on the floor, his heart ached terribly.

Without caring about the other people crowding around them, Trevor crouched down and stroked Jessica's hair softly. "It's all right. You're fine."

"It's all right. All those things have passed." His voice was incredibly soft. All of the people standing around them stared in shock.

They could not believe that their CEO was acting this way.

Trevor was known to be a block of ice that no one dared to go near. The crowd was astonished that there was this side to him.

"No, no. It wasn't me. I didn't do it." Jessica shook her head furiously as she remained crouching on the floor. She had long lost any sense of reality.

"I know, I know." With an aching heart, he brought Jessica into his arms. "I know that it wasn't you who killed them. You're the kindest person I know." He knew that it was his fault that such a brilliant woman ended up this way.

"You don't. You don't know what happened at all. There's no way you'll believe me. You will never believe me." Jessica bit her lip so hard that it started bleeding. Tears welled up in her eyes. The demon inside her head had completely

taken control of her mind.

"I believe you, really. I trust you." Trevor's breaths started picking up as he furrowed his eyebrows. He carried Jessica up and brought her back into the office.

There were too many people around her. She would only feel worse.

Trevor carefully placed heron the chair. He stroked her face gently.

"It's all in the past now," he soothed her gently. The guilt in his heart was eating him alive.

Jessica was terribly frightened. She did not even dare to move. Looking at the man in front of her, she started breathing heavily.
