Chapter Sixty Two

"Come on Mushk, it's time." Irtaza tells her, who tightens her hold on his brother's hand.

Going towards her, he holds her arm and helps her get up.

"Get well soon bro!" Whispering to Mustafa, they both leave the hospital and soon they are on their way to court.

"I'm scared." Mushk whispers nervously, her voice barely audible to Irtaza.

Soon the court was in view and they stopped their car. Sighing, Irtaza unbuckles and jogs towards Mushk.

Opening the door, he holds her hands, and motions her to take deep breaths.

"Now! Why are you scared? Don't be! I'm with you, forever." Mushk's heart melts at his last words, she opens her mouth to say something when Irtaza beats to it, knowing what she was about to say.

"We've no reason to be scared, you're her next immediate family and thank the lord, we're better off than Zohan, plus Zohan doesn't even have a wife, so that she can be the mother figure for kids. Now come one don't be scared, we've higher chances of winning." Saying this, he helps her step out of his Range Rover.

As soon as Mushk steps down, she looks around nervously when a hand appears and holds her tightly.

She looks up to see Irtaza giving her a reassuring glance.

Nodding at him, they both move towards the hall when out of nowhere Zohan appears in their view with lawyers surrounding him.

He smirks at Mushk and mouths to her

"Get ready to lose."

But what he didn't notice was the man's hand which was clasped in Mushk's tight grip, promising her safety and love.

She averts her gaze from that unlucky man and soon the wait is over, when the judge comes and all of them stood in respect.

Setting down, the case began, with both the lawyers trying their best to defend their clients.

Zohan was persistent in winning the case and was trying his best to defame her.

"Your honor, she have no one, her family is in hospital and there is no source of income. How will she support the kids?" Zohan's lawyer commented.

Zohan was looking at the duo in jealousy, but still he put up a facade and was smirking evilly at them who were ignoring his cheap antics.

"That's where you're wrong Mr Waleed. Here are the official documents stating that my client, Mrs Mushk Irtaza khan got married yesterday." As soon as those words left his mouth, Zohan was stunned.

Zohan was shocked realizing his plan backfired. He never thought about Irtaza helping her, he thought that Irtaza would never accept her, as she was a used woman now, but he was wrong.

Irtaza's morals were too high to think something so low.

He should've known that he was full of morals. He clenches his fist in anger and gets up murmuring his last plan to his lawyer.

"I have something which will prove that Miss Mu-" The lawyer was interrupted.☐☐
