SEDUCING MY STEPBROTHER

Chapter 10

"Hurry up Lexi, we are going to be late."

"I can't run faster than this," she grumbled. "Besides, it's your fault we are going to be late."

"I told you not to fight with the security man, but you wouldn't listen."

"He was being stupid, Lexi, and he was using his height and strength to his advantage."

"That is exactly how he must act mom, how is he supposed to be a security man if he can't intimidate people," she hissed.

"Oh! God, fine! Can we run faster now; I don't want Balthas to be worried."

Lexi rolled her eyes; her mother won't stop talking about this Balthas all day long.

"Final call for flight 201 to California boarding through the gate... Passengers, please make your way forward."

The voice-over blasted the announcement, and Daphne heaved a sigh of relief.

"I'm glad we could still make it," she smiled as she lined behind the last person on the roll, while Lexi stood behind her.

They walked to their seat after checking up with the attendant.

Her stepfather had paid for the whole fight class so they were the only two people there, and Lexi couldn't have been more grateful at the moment.

"Your husband must be so rich to buy us enough privacy," she mumbled, causing Daphne to shake her head at her.

"You didn't pay any attention to everything I said about him," she pursed her lip. "Now you are you going to live with a man you barely knew."

"We have a lot of time to do that so you can start telling me the important things I need to know about him.

"Any children I should know of?" She asked.

"Just a son, but he is hardly around so I don't think you would need to know much about me," she explained. "But in case he does show up on any day I want you to avoid him." "Is he that bad?" She furrowed her brows

"I can't say he is bad, but I wouldn't like him around you, Lexi, he is a first-class Casanova."

"He must have inherited that from his father."

"Lexi!"

"What? I am only saying the truth, or you want to tell me you two haven't made love yet?"

A blush stained her mother's cheek and Lexi hid her smile.

"We have," she said in a low voice. "It was extraordinary."

"You must have screamed his name so loud as he takes you to the peak with his mouth," she smiled, when the scene in the backseat flashed through her head again. "Are you sure you are still a virgin as you claim?" Daphne stared at her daughter.

"God! mom, this has nothing to do with being a virgin or not," she folds her hand over her chest.

"Besides, I am 24 not 16 mom, I know what making love and having sex would feel like."

"Have you been doing those naughty deeds with guys?"

"Yes...." She scrunch up her face when she remembered her first time trying to let a guy touch her.

"David and I tried it once, but it didn't end up well."

"How so?"

"I just wanted to know how it feels to orgasm, so I let him touch me," she shook her head to rid herself of the memory.

"God it was disgusting, I didn't even feel any pleasure before he released in his pant, I left his house in anger and we broke up the next day."

Daphne couldn't keep in her laugh, she peaked with laughter, trying to get herself in control.

"He wouldn't even last 5 minutes on the bed if you had gone any further," she cackled with laughter

"I figured that out, so I told him we are done. He was so shocked, and he made me promise not to tell anyone about it."

"I think I understand why you are still

h Still

a virgin now," she wiped the little

tear at the corner of her eyes. "You have been disappointed by men you expected a lot from."

"You are wrong on that mom, even if David had lasted hours trying to make me orgasm," she averted her eyes. "I wouldn't have let it go beyond that."

She could feel her mother's gaze on her, but she refused to meet her eyes.

"I wanted to have what you and dad share, the love and passion that refuse to leave even after you had me." She said lowly. "Lexi..."

"I don't just want to have sex with every guy I date and then break up with them, with no emotional attachment involved.

"I want to experience the beauty of being claimed by the man you live for the first and giving your heart and soul to him completely."

Daphne had tears in her eyes, she wiped them away as she stared at her daughter, who was nervously picking her nails.

"You made the right decision," she whispered, and Lexi raised her head to look at her.

"I hope you will meet that special man that deserves you just as you will deserve him." "Mom..." Her voice shook with unshed tears.

"Come here," she widened her arm, and Lexi unbuckled her belt.

She leaned into Daphne's arm, and she strokes her back gently.

"You will be fine my love," she assured.

Her words were so soothing that Lexi didn't know when she slept off.

Lexi grumbled in her sleep, as she felt someone shake her gently.

"Wake up Lexi, we are here."

She sprang up at the sound of her mother's voice.

"We are in California already?" She asked, looking outside the window to see they were just landing.

"It's beautiful," she unbuckled her seatbelt and followed her mother out of the plane.

They got their bags and made their way out of the airport.

"Daphne."

They both turn their head in the direction of the voice and a smile graced Daphne's lip.

Lexi stared at the man whose arm wrapped around her mother, her eyes bulging out of their socket.

She hardly admits things to herself, but for the first time, she admitted that the man in front of her is beautiful even at his age.

"You must be Lexi," She didn't know when he come over to her.

"Y-yes," she cleared her throat to get rid of the awkwardness.

"I have heard a lot about you," he said, glancing at her mother.

"Same here."

"Should we leave?" She bobbed her head at his words, and they got into the car.

1 HOUR LATER

The sound of Lexi's laugh filled the entire room as she listens to Balthas talk. She was expecting him to be cold, unfeeling.

Or better still ruthless, but nothing

could have prepared her for this. She had to admit he was the perfect

man for her mother, and shedike him at once.

"Lexi, can you please get the door while I set the table," her mother called from the kitchen.

"Sure," she replied, with a beautiful smile still plastered on her face. She pulls the door open, only to freeze.

She stared at the figure in front of her and stopped breathing for a while.

"You?" She muttered in a low voice.
