It didn’t matter that they were at the Walsh’s Residence. Anyone who dared to disparage the Dubin family would feel the
wrath of their ire.
“Dona, let go of Ryan, or you’ll regret it,” Wesley’s voice was cold as he fixed Oona with a steely stare.
Wesley was keenly aware of the infatuation Oona harbored for him, to the extent that she seemed willing to lay down her life for him. Despite her uncharacteristic behavior the previous day, he couldn’t shake the conviction that someone deeply in love with him wouldn’t simply relinquish him so easily.
It was evident to Wesley that this foolish girl was merely trying to act up to get his attention.
With this realization firm in his mind, Wesley’s expression hardened even further as he maintained a frosty gaze locked with
Oona’s
Standing by Oona’s side, Simon’s fists clenched with fury at the sight of his sister being subjected to such disdainful scrutiny
Almost instinctively, he moved forward in a protective stance before Oona, fixing Wesley with a fierce glare. “If you dare to disrespect my sister in any way, even if it’s just a mere finger brush, you’ll have to face me!”
He would never tolerate this loathsome man laying a hand on his sister.
However, beneath his outward bravado, Simon couldn’t shake the worry gnawing at him–fearful that despite everything, his sister might still harbor feelings for this contemptible individual.
Oona cast a frigid glance over the group, her icy stare piercing as she addressed Ryan. “Do you care to enlighten us on why my brother felt the need to punch you? If you want to keep quiet, so be it, but be prepared to face the repercussions from
me.”
From Oona’s perspective, allowing oneself to be exploited or bullied was never an acceptable course of action.
Especially when it came to matters of her family, for whom she harbored a fiercely protective instinct.
When she was living in Fort Carnage before, whenever she witnessed someone being bullied, she practically obliterated the bully’s entire family single–handedly.
In the end, the bully and their family had no choice but to respect her as their boss, ceasing their troublesome behavior entirely.
Now, inhabiting her current body, she felt an inherent obligation to safeguard her nearest and dearest family members.
“Oona, if you dare touch me, my brother won’t take it lightly!” Ryan boldly issued his threat while in Oona’s grasp.
Oona’s lips curled into a sneer. “Your bro?”
With disdain evident in her gaze, she cast a glance toward Wesley and scoffed, “You’re referring to this insignificant man?”
“Don’t test me, Oonal Wesley’s voice seethed with anger in response to Oona’s taunt
Oona let out a cold chuckle, unmoved by Wesley’s fury. Without warning, she released her grip, causing Ryan to tumble to the ground, landing hard on his bottom, his face twisted in agony.
Upon witnessing her son’s fall, Pamela hurried forward to assess his injuries, then rounded on Oona with fury blazing in her eyes. “Oona, you will pay dearly for injuring my son today!” she spat out vehemently,
Ignoring Pamela’s threats, Dona’s lips curled into an icy, wicked grin. Without hesitation, she delivered a swift kick directly to Ryan’s abdomen.
Ryan’s cry of
of pain echoed through the room as his body recoiled in agony, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

The suddenness of Oona’s attack caught everyone off guard, and the members of the Dubin family wore expressions of shock on their faces.
Wesley’s complexion paled as he fixed Oona with a glare, his voice booming with outrage. “Oona, how could you! Even if you’re purposely trying to get my attention, you’ve overstepped your bounds. You’ve gone too far!”
There was a palpable sense of danger and a glimmer of malice that flooded Wesley’s eyes as they locked with Oona’s..
Oona seemed unfazed by Wesley’s admonishment, merely crouching down to talk to Ryan. With a cold edge to her voice, she demanded. Tell them the truth about why my brother felt compelled to strike you!”
Oona’s piercing glare bore into Ryan’s soul. His complexion drained of color as his body trembled at the frightening sight.
