Chapter 15 Wrong Number?

“Clay, we haven’t even finished our wine. Why are you already chasing us away?” Tyler was feeling disgruntled at the abrupt

notice.

Anson simply placed his glass on the table, patted Tyler on the shoulder, and sighed. “Come on,”

Tyler mock sobbed as he leaned his head on Anson’s shoulder, lamenting. “Anson, what he said hurt

“Don’t make me vomit. I’m not interested in your antics, Anson pushed Tyler’s head away with disdain. “Move!”

Before leaving. Anson looked at Clayton again and said. “There’s been quite a bit of activity in the capital recently. Be careful, Clay. I’m afraid they might come after you next!”

“Don’t worry, they won’t get the chancel Clayton’s peach blossom–shaped eyes narrowed slightly, a fleeting murderous glint flashing in his eyes.

“That’s right,” Anson nodded, chuckling softly. Those people thought to match you with a timid and cowardly fool but actually found a match for you, what a bunch of fools!

Thinking of his little bratty wife, Clayton’s expression softened a bit. His eyes glazed over with affection, and a faint smile crossed his face.

Anson left, dragging Tyler along with him.

Clayton got up from the sofa and changed into a new outfit upstairs before leaving the house.

“Sir!” As Clayton left the house, an employee approached him respectfully.

“You don’t need to follow me.” Clayton adjusted the cufflinks on his wrist as he gave the order before walking towards the car.

The Royal Villa

was

far from Gustama Court, a mere twenty–minute drive.

The security guard at Gustama Court recognized Clayton and immediately let him pass. Oona lived in the villa furthest from the gates. It was also the most picturesque area on the grounds.

Clayton drove straight up to the villa. Noting that the entire building was clad in darkness, he furrowed his brows.

He thought of the brat’s irritable demeanor when he watched the surveillance earlier and couldn’t help but laugh. She really wasn’t a morning person!

Oona slept straight through the day.

At 10:30 pm, her phone suddenly rang from the bedside table. The sudden, piercing sound made her frown unhappily. She rubbed her eyes in annoyance before opening them. She glanced impatiently at her still–ringing phone before reaching over to pick it up.

“Hello, this is the Pinebrook District Police Station in Brookville. We need you to come for someone named Simon Walsh.”

Oona frowned. She couldn’t remember who this Simon person was at all. She said, “I don’t know him. You’ve got the wrong number,” and hung up the phone..

The moment she put it down, her phone rang again.

Oona glanced at the caller ID. It was the same number as before. She furrowed her brows and answered again.

“Are we

na Walsh?”

The person on the other end of the line asked this time.

Tam:

I am What’s the matter? I already said you’ve got the wrong number! Oona was getting impatient.

“If you’re Oona Walsh, then there’s no mistake. We’ve arrested Simon Walsh, who should be your brother We need you to come in to sign some documents before we can release him.”

As soon as she heard the word “brother,” Oona finally had a faint impression of who he was. It seemed that the original host did have a brother. As the original host had been sent away for over ten years and had only recently been brought back, she knew little of this “brother of hers.
