Secret World

Chapter 18. Alex

I was asleep for too long. If not for Lisa, I would remain that way. My lost and found friend made a point. My so-called brother causes too much trouble. He got some wild dragons, he freed the worst of us, but the most dangerous part is that he experiments on everyone. He has a few buildings, where he keeps the prisoners to torture them and steal their essence, magic, or blood from them. He doesnt give a fuck, if they are humans or supernatural. Lisa was pale the whole time. Nervous, scared and most importantly she had too many questions. I had to explain to her. I held her the whole time by her waist. One of her sentences made my heart stop.

“Who would do such a thing? This has to be a monster!”

They called me a monster all the time, because by that definition I am a monster. I never took pleasure in torturing or killing. I kill, when I have. This human is beyond everything I ever saw. I can't use my magic to find out about all he had done.

“You have to find a way to get back to your game. We need to attack him now. No more waiting, no more playing hide and seek. Alex, you have the power to stop it, you will have to use it!” I nodded. I knew this was right.

The healing part took longer than I would like. It took me two weeks to heal myself completely. Most of the time I was in my wolf form. I changed back only, when I needed to have Lisa. I made it. I am completely healed now. The time has come to strike. I left Lisa in the safety of the castle. Her guard volunteered - the white dragon. I was not sure, if I was okay with that.

“Kitty, come here,” I called her and placed her on my lap. “Listen to me very carefully. Don't touch her. I know, she let you do so twice, but now it is different. She would bound you to her. That would be fine. The problematic part would be the fact, she was promised to the black dragon, to my dragon,” she gave me a confused look. “We would have to do a ritual similar to the wedding too.”

“We what?” She spat.

“I don't like to repeat myself.”

“Man, are you telling me, they would make us rush this?” I nodded. “No touching then! Okay by me!” I had to smile. She looked so cute right now. I kissed her cheek.

“You two are no fun!” The white dragon said.

“We are fun, when we are alone,” I winked at her.

“Ew! Too much information!” She pushed me with her wing. It almost made me fall with Lisa in my arms.

“Hey! Watch it! Or do you want to hurt her?” She shook her head.

I said my goodbyes to Lisa. It was my time to leave. I made it theatric. I jumped out of the window and landed on the back of my dragon friend. I saw Lisa running on the balcony. My uncle was waiting for me on his dragon. He just made fun of me for scaring her. They almost killed him, when he brought her back to me. I stood up for him with Sonya and forest elves. Ever since, everything was in a rush. Even this day. I had a bad feeling about this.

We arrived at the place. It was empty, burned. Even the “lab rats.” It was overkill. Before I could process, I had to make a maneuver to the right. Someone attacked us. I saw movement in the threes. This was a trap for us. It only made me more angry. I jumped down, I called the smallest of us. Our little devil in the body of a girl. I whispered in her ear everything I knew and what they caused. That was not enough to piss her off. I had to add the story about my first meeting with Lisa. She adored her, but was scared to approach. That made the magic. She turned to her funny self.

“So, uncle, let's make it more fun. Who will kill more of them?” Her dad stood behind her, she just hugged him.

“You two think, you can beat me? Lets play!” He challenged us.

The fun began. Put three pissed and protective killers in the front line and you have the perfect mix for bloodshed. We cleared the forest to the border. When the rest arrived, they just looked surprised. We just finished our counts. The little psycho won! She beat us both! I was as proud as her father! She was basically covered in blood and organs. Her mum tried to clear her up.

The rest of the dragons just came through the portal we created for them. Our next stop was the house with the leaders. Should be more fun. They were not all to kill. I found out their fears. We will kill those afraid of death, the rest I remove from existence and a few I turn into humans. Every single one of them gets their own hell.

We surrounded the place. They counted on the trap. I went inside. I saw my grandmother with a pack of werewolves and one magican. They wanted to help. I called my grandfather. He almost killed the woman he hated the most. She broke his heart with her betrayal. I stopped him. We needed her for a while. She was ready to run away again, when this all ends. I marked her with a rune. This basic magic didn't allow her to betray us or run. The magician was another first creation. My grandfather was not sure if we should trust him. I got deeper to recognize his intentions. He was honest with us. He saw too much. He just wanted to live somewhere peaceful. And for the pack. I thought this pack of white-gray wolves with blue eyes was dead. Obviously, they hide from my radar. They were amazing soldiers. I was glad they joined us.

What made me worried was the piece of information, the rest was gone. They had no leads on them. We went outside to explain everything, when I saw a ray of dragon fire heading to the sky. I was on my dragon's back in less than a second. I headed to the place I knew it came from - the castle. This meant only one thing. Lisa was in danger. Now my monster has awakened.
