The Business Tycoon And The Clever Twins By Jamie Joe Chapter 23
Chapter 23
Joshua was ruthless, domineering, and callous. How could such a dangerous figure be suitable to be the two children’s dad? Christy said to herself. “For the sake of her two children. I must take a firm stand.”
She shook her head desperately, trying to get rid of the man’s image from her mind… While Christy struggled to keep her family together, Alan was doing something in secret.
One day, when Christy hadn’t come back from work yet, Alan went to Victoria’s room.
Victoria was typing on her computer.
Her focused expression was terrifying.
Alan could see Victoria type extremely fast.
Victoria was really a typing master…
“Victoria, I have something to discuss with you,” Alan said seriously.
Victoria took her hands off the keyboard, turned her chair around, and smiled, “It’s really rare! Even Alan has to ask for help
sometimes?”
“My mom has had some accidents recently, and I’m a little worried. I need one room to place some equipment from abroad. so that I can better protect my mom and sister. I don’t want my mom to know, so I can only come to you.” Alan’s attitude was very sincere, unlike his usual cold and arrogant style.
Victoria thought Alan was talking about toys when he said equipment. And she thought Alan was playing some cute spy
game.
She wondered if kids would all talk like that.
After witnessing Alan’s incredible skills with his toy gun and his online purchase, Victoria didn’t feel surprised again.
“There’s a storage room on the rooftop that you can use. The key is in the first drawer of the entrance.” Victoria said calmly, her eyes once again fixed on the computer, ignoring Alan.
At that time, Victoria thought that Alan was just mailing toys back from abroad! A storage room that big would be enough for Alan to store toys.
Anyway, she had plenty of rooms in her house.
“Thank you, Victoria.” Alan smiled.
The enemy that Christy encountered was too powerful, and what Alan was going to get back was not toys!
While Alan was building his secret space, things weren’t calm and peaceful for him at kindergarten either.
There was a boy in class who was very thin and pretty. He had very pale skin and was particularly introverted, seldom speaking up.
During PE class, the boy sat quietly on the side, watching everyone playing basketball but not participating. Several naughty boys in the class always taunted him.
A chubby boy named Jesse Flint often pointed at the boy and laughed out loud.
“Look! That sissy is sitting there again!”
Jesse was accompanied by a little follower named Mount, who echoed Jesse’s mockery, “Jesse, I heard that girls don’t
participate in PE when they’re on their period. Could it be that he’s on his period?”
Jesse laughed loudly. “That’s really disgusting… If he’s a girl, why is he wearing boy’s clothes?”
The boy was clearly hurt by their words. He lowered his head, clenching his fists tightly.
The boy also wanted to run healthily under the sun and sweat on the grass like everyone else, but he couldn’t…
Alan heard their words and frowned. It was too much to bully classmates like that.
After mocking the boy, Jesse went to play basketball with Mount and others.
Jesse just didn’t like the thin boy. Looking at the basketball in his hand, suddenly had a wicked idea.
Jesse raised the ball and threw it with all his strength at the thin boy!
The thin boy was terrified as the ball approached.
He thought the ball was gonna hit him.

But the next second, a small figure stood in front of him.
Alan stood steadily, stretched out his right hand, and single–handedly blocked the incoming basketball with ease. The ball spun a few times in his palm before falling back down. He gently held the ball in his hand, looking cool! “Alan, you’re amazing!” Clara clapped her hands and cheered.
She was always Alan’s fan and idolized Alan.
Clara ran to the boy and asked, “Are you okay?”
Her caring smile made her look like a little angel, her eyes pure and innocent.
The boy blushed a little. He had never seen such a cute girl before.
“Thank you, I’m fine…” he stuttered in reply.
“I’m giving you a chance. Apologize to him now. Or you’ll regret it!” Alan said domineeringly.
“The basketball doesn’t mean to hurt anyone. His dumbness is nobody else’s fault! Give us back the ball! Otherwise, I’ll tell the teacher that you stole my toy and let her scold you!” Jesse said arrogantly.
“Very well. Since you don’t want to apologize, then don’t blame me for being rude! Here’s your ball, if you can catch it,” Alan said with a dark smile as he threw the ball at Jesse’s face.
The basketball flew toward Jesse’s face like an arrow released from a bow!
“Ahh!” Jesse screamed in agony as the ball hit his face, causing it to become red and swollen on one side.
“You… you throw a ball at me!” Jesse held his face in pain and shouted in anger, tears streaming down his face.
“The basketball doesn’t mean to hurt anyone. Your dumbness is nobody else’s fault!” Alan teased Jesse, “Are you going to tell the teacher how stupid you are, that you couldn’t even dodge a ball?”
Alan returned Jesse’s words to Jesse.
“Damn it!” Jesse was so angry that his face turned red. He rushed toward Alan, wanting to beat Alan up.
Alan moved lightly, avoiding Jesse’s attack. Then, Alan threw Jesse over his shoulder and slammed Jesse onto the ground, leaving Jesse unable to get up for a while.
Jesse pointed at Alan and yelled, “Alan Osborn! Remember this! My dad is the CEO of Flint Group! You hit me, and my dad. will get it even for me!”
“Heh, you can’t beat me, so you’re talking about your dad? How pathetic, Alan sneered.
Jesse knew that Alan was being sarcastic.
But Jesse couldn’t win in a fight or a battle of words. If they kept going, Jesse would only be at an even greater disadvantage.
Hence, with Mount’s help, Jesse left dejectedly, occasionally glancing back at Alan with resentful eyes.
“Is it worth offending the Flint family for me?” the thin boy asked worriedly, “Why did you help me?”
I’m not afraid of him anyway. I just don’t like him,” Alan asked, “What’s your name?”
Alan and Clara had just transferred to that kindergarten, so they didn’t know all their classmates yet.
“My name is Leslie Melendez,” the thin boy replied softly.
Leslie Melendez?
Melendez? The family name sounded so familiar to Alan.
When Alan searched for information on Joshua online before, it was said that Joshua had a nephew named Leslie.
Leslie looked somewhat similar to Joshua, but his appearance was very delicate, not as sharp and chiseled as Joshua’s. Leslie
looked weaker and softer.
Alan wondered if Leslie in his kindergarten was Joshua’s nephew.
