Save Sweetlove Novel by Wallis Watt

Chapter 7

“Mr. Cameron, you have a fiancée. Isn’t it a bit inappropriate to stare at me like this in front of so many people?”

Elaine ridiculed Anson with a faint smile.

If Lamia were present, she might become furious when she saw Anson staring at Elaine affectionately.

Regardless of whether the kidnapping case five years ago was related to Lamia or not, Elaine would make Lamia pay the price since Lamia had stolen her design and Anson’s heart.

Anson’s gaze was fixed on Elaine’s face.

Elaine had never been so lively and confident while facing him in the past. Instead, she had always been quiet.

After every dinner party, she would always prepare him a cup of coffee.

And every time Anson came home late, she never turned off all the lights so that he could feel the warmth of home when he got out of the car.

Those memories of her past flashed through her mind like a movie on fast–forward, stabbing her heart deeply.

“Mr. Robinson, don’t forget our agreement!” Elaine withdrew her gaze and looked at Josh with a charming smile,

Josh said with a wry smile, “Well, it depends on Mr. Cameron.”

“Sure,” Anson said and opened the car door.

Wearing a smile, Elaine fastened her seat belt after getting in the car and turned to glance at Anson with interest.

Anson lost in a trance for a moment. As a result, he was half a minute behind Elaine.

Taking advantage of this brief moment, Elaine slammed on the accelerator, and the top–equipped Ferrari rushed forward like a bolt of thunder.

Anson focused on the road, looking very serious.

He floored the accelerator and was about to catch up with Elaine

Seeing him approaching out of the corner of her eyes, Elaine squinted slightly.

‘Anson, everyone admires you.

Wherever you go, you’ve always been the one under the limelight.

Some people even said there’s no such thing as failure in your dictionary.

Today, I’ll make sure to carve this word on your dignity!”

Elaine murmured to herself, and her gaze became colder.

There was an S–shaped bend ahead.

Everyone thought that she would slow down. Instead, Elaine was speeding up.

Anson was shocked.

‘Is she crazy?‘He thought.

Elaine drove through the first bend very neatly without overturning the car. She even overtook Anson a few feet away.

Holding his breath, Anson also accelerated at the curve.

“A whoosh came,”

He also passed the first bend smoothly, only ten feet behind Elaine.

Elaine pressed her lips, her eyes glazed with sharpness.

Just as Anson was about to pass her, she winked at him.

Anson frowned more deeply with a hint of disgust in his eyes.

He had refrained himself from thinking of the past, but her charming wink distracted him again.

“Boom

Suddenly, Anson’s car hit the bunker, Elaine sneered, stepped on the accelerator, and neatly drove through the 5–shaped bends neatly.

Josh was waiting at the finish line. When Elaine’s car stopped, he greeted her with a smile.

“Beautiful lady, you’re professional in racing, aren’t you?”

Flaine smiled slightly, her eyes full of confidence. “No.”

“How did you manage to accelerate when you passed the bend?

Even most of the male racers wouldn’t risk their lives in such a maniac way.

Josh thought he would have won several championship trophies long ago if he had such courage in amateurish competitions.

Elaine said with a bright smile, “Maybe it’s because I promised my boss before I came here. If I can’t win over the chance to cooperate with you, I will resign immediately.”

Josh was stunned for a moment and burst into laughter. “You are beautiful, smart, and brave. Your boss will surely not be willing to let you leave!”

“But Mr. Robinson, you haven’t agreed to cooperate with us so far. Elaine stretched out her hand to him. I’m Elena Gray from the Sevier Group.”

Anson happened to walk over with a sullen face. His eyes dimmed when he heard Elaine’s self–introduction.

“You are Elena Gray?”

Elaine showed a charming smile, overshadowing everything around her. “Yes, my name is Elena Gray.”

Anson clenched his–ists, lost in thought.

‘Elaine is mute, while this woman is eloquent and arrogant. They are so different. How could it be her?

That’s impossible!

“She’s not the woman I have been searching for over the past five years!

Josh had also heard of the Sevier Group.

This company burst onto the scene five years ago, and it had rapidly grown. The chief designer, Elena Gray, had won numerous awards for her ingenious designs.

Because of Elena, the Sevier Group quickly opened up the Midwest market, and there were countless orders every year.

Elaine’s smile widened. “Mr. Robinson, this is my business card. We can talk about the details of our cooperation later.”

Today, both of her goals had been achieved. She gave Anson a blow and let him experience failure. Besides, she had won over Josh and proved her ability to Gideon and those directors.

The kids at home still needed her care, so she didn’t like talking about business at night.

Josh took the business card and looked at it carefully. “It’s a golden diamond–studded business card!”

Elaine was just a designer, but she had such a high–standard business card. Josh could tell she must be highly valued in the Sevier Group.

“Mr. Robinson, I’ll wait for your call!”

“Sure!” Josh smiled broadly.

He reluctantly looked away when Elaine’s figure completely disappeared.

Secing Anson’s gloomy gaze. Josh quickly explained, “Mr. Cameron, I made an agreement with Ms. Gray. If she beats you, I will consider cooperating with the Sevier Group. As you have never failed in the racing, I thought you wouldn’t lose to a woman!*

Anson replied coldly, “It doesn’t matter!”

After speaking, he turned around and left.

As soon as Anson left the race track, the photo of him staring at Elaine affectionately was posted on the Internet.

In this photo, Elaine only showed her back.

However, such a simple yet gorgeous view was enough to cause all kinds of guesses and imaginations.
