Alec’s p.o.v

A baby girl. She’s going to be my princess.

“Alpha, I think we should do this another day” Liam pulling me out of my thoughts

“I’m having a baby girl!” I exclaimed and he nodded

“Congratulations Alpha. But you told us, about 15 times” someone said at the back.

“Oh. You all leave. I’m going to go to Emily. Liam sort them all out” I smiled and walked out of the office.

I walked upstairs to our room, and walked inside to see it was empty.

“Emily? You in the bathroom?” I asked sitting down on the bed.

When I got no reply, I got up and opened the bathroom door to see it was empty.

I turned around to see the window opened. I walked towards and saw a paper stuck on the wall next to it.

Alec.

I’m sorry Alec but I’m leaving.

I don’t want to be your weakness, I want you to be happy. Ever since I have come into your life, I’ve seen you be more careful. More aware of things. I want you to live your life in peace, and not worrying about me. I do love you Alec, a lot, but I don’t want to be a burden on you. I want you to happy, not sad with me. I want you to live a normal life, a happy life.

I am sorry Alec, but I don’t want to be a weakness.

Emily

What the fuck! She’s not my weakness. You didn’t let me finish what I was saying Emily. You’re also my strength.

“Liam!” I shouted running to the door.

“What do you want Alec?” He groaned from the bottom of the steps.

“Emily, she ran away! We need to get her back! Call all the tracker, and make them look for her. I’m going” I ran down the steps,and out the castle.

Emily! She’s gone! Chase yelled

I fucking no that! I yelled back and shifted into my wolf. I ran straight to the forest, the only way out.

When I felt a bond break, I thought it was only one of the guards stepping out of the territory.

We’re on our way Alec Liam mindlinked me and I ran faster.

Emily’s p.o.v

1 year later!

“Em! Hurry up!” Linda exclaimed and I nodded

“I’m coming!” I exclaimed back holding Mia in one hand and following Linda.

“We’re already late” she shook her head sitting in the car. I put Mia in her baby seat and sat in the passangers seat.

“Ready to go?” Linda asked and I nodded

“Yep!” She nodded and drove out of our apartment car park.

“You know Joe is not going to be mad?” I asked looking at her and rubbing my hands together.

“Cold?” She asked putting the heating on in the car.

“Freezing!” I muttered warming my hands up

“Welcome to England love! You’ve been here for a year now, and you still find it cold!” Linda shook her head parking outside Joe’s diner.

“I lived in a hot place. This is too cold. I can’t believe it snowed last night as well” I muttered getting out of the car and wrapping my coat around me tighter.

I opened the back door, and picked up Mia, who was smiling at me.

“You cold baby?” I pulled her hat down.

“Mama” she smiled and I sighed, pulling her close to me.

“Let’s go” I walked inside with Linda and just as we walked in to the lockers room, Joe was standing there with his arms crossed.

“Late again?” He raised his eyebrow

“I’m sorry Joe, it’s my fault. I had to get Mia ready as w-”

“It’s always the same excuse Emily. Look,I have to let one of you go today. The diner isn’t going great at the moment, and I can’t pay your wages. So I have to let you go Emily. You can stay today and I’ll give you this week’s money” he sighed and walked out the room.

“I’ll have a chat with him!” Linda said

“And how?” I smirked

“My special charm! The one that all boys listen to” she winked and turned around.

“Oh Joey baby” she called out, and walking out the room.

I sat on the sofa as Mia clapped her hands.

“Mama” she shouted smiling at me.

Mia is one year old and she’s my daughter. The one thing that I am worried about with Mia is that, she’s one, and she can’t speak, other than the word mama.

Normal werewolf or vampire, at the age of 1, is fully talking. They look around the age of at least 3-4. But Mia, she looks her age, and that’s not good for werewolf kids.

I don’t even know if Mia is a werewolf or a vampire.

“Mama” she clapped her hands and I looked at her.

“You love mama right?” I cooed

“Mama” she smiled at me.

“I think we should just go back right?” I picked her up.

“We’ll go shopping, and then watch girl meets world! You like that right?” I cooed, tickling her stomach and she laughed.

“My charm doesn’t work on him!” Linda exclaimed walking back into the room, and closing her buttons.

“So you had ‘it’ with him for nothing? That’s not the Linda I know!” I gasped standing up

“I know” she cried dramatically

“But you like him, and he likes you. That’s why you have this- what do you call it?” I asked

“Friends with benifits” she grumbled

“Ah yes!”

" But he doesn’t like me no other way” she mumbled walking closer to me.

“Have you tried any other way?”

“No?”

“At least try. I know he likes you Linda. You’re an amazing girl” I said as she laid her head on my shoulder and looked at Mia.

“Your mommy is a clever girl right?” She pinched her cheeks

“Are you going home?” Linda asked looking at me and I nodded

“First we are going shopping to get some food for the house” I narrowed my eyes at her and she put her hand up

“I was busy yesterday! I forgot. Sorry” she said handing me the car keys.

“Thank you! Now talk to Joe about your feelings. Now bye bye” I waved at her and walked out of the room. I walked to Joe’s office, to see him looking at a picture of Linda.

“B-best e-employee of the month. Just needed h-her p-picture” he stuttered standing up and his cheeks turning red.

“It’s okay Joe. Calm down. I’m not going to kill you! But it’s kind of weird that Linda is the employee of the month, every month ?” I questioned

“She’s good at her job! Do you need something Emily?” he took a deep breath and I smiled

“My pay check please!” I held my hand out.

“Don’t tell her” he groaned handing me my envelope.

“Mouth is closed” I pretend to zip my mouth and he nodded

“Thanks” he said and I walked out of the room.

I walked straight outside to our car and put Mia in her seat.

I sat in my car and drove to Tesco. It’s like a Walmart and it has everything inside, but just the name is different.

I parked the car at the front, and got Mia out and put her seat in the trolley. Here in England, they call a cart a trolley

“You like shopping right?“I asked and she nodded

“Mama” she clapped her hands and I smiled.

“Let’s go inside” I said and pushed the trolley slowly, and walked through the automatic doors.

“We need milk and yogurt” I mumbled to myself, and going to the dairy aisle.

I put two milk bottles and some baby yogurt in the trolley just as I heard Liam’s voice.

“Nat what would she be doing here!” I heard him shout

“I saw her drive inside here!” I heard Nat’s voice.

I pulled my hoodie up quickly, blocking my scent as I saw them walk into this aisle.

“Nobody is here Nat except her” Liam whispered to her

“Oh. She is here. I know it” Nat whispered back and they walked away.

I quickly picked Mia’s seat up and turned around to see Nat had fallen.

“Sor-” Liam froze when he saw me.

“Emily” he whispered and Nat stood up, and turned to look at me.

“I-I have to go” I mumbled trying to walk past them but Liam grabbed my arm, stopping me.

“No!” He shouted and Mia started crying.

“Alec’s daughter?” Nat whispered as I put the seat on the floor. I picked Mia up from the seat and rocked her.

“Shush” I cooed as they looked at me shocked.

" I need to go” I mumbled picking up the car seat with one hand and walking out of Tesco

“Emily you can’t leave like that! I have been looking for you a whole year! This was my last hope. Please! Alec is a mess!” Liam shouted following me outside as I froze

“You can come to my apartment” I stopped walking and turned to them

Nat was staring at Mia.

“She looks like Alec” she whispered and I turned around and walked to my car.

I put Mia in her seat as passangers seat. I sat in the driver’s seat and started the car.

“That’s Liam’s car” Nat said pointing to a black Mercedes behind us.

I nodded and pulled out of the parking lot.

“Is Mia a werewolf or a vampire?” Nat asked quietly

“I don’t know” I replied

“Mama” Mia exclaimed and Nat turned around in her seat.

“Auntie! Say it. A-u-n-t-i-e!” Nat smiled at her.

“She doesn’t talk, other than saying Mama” I said and turned to me

“But she’s a supernatural. She should be able to talk now?”

“She’s just late. It happens. I know what’s best for my daughter” I muttered parking the car outside my apartment.

I got out of the car, and picked Mia up.

“Mama” she smiled at me kissing my cheek.

“Let’s go” I said to Nat as Liam parked the car at and got out.

“Hey Emily!” Alex waved opening the door for me.

“Hi Alex” I smile and walk through the door. I walk to the elevator just as the door opened then I stood inside.

“Who’s he!” Liam muttered as the door closed.

“A friend” I said pressing the button for the 5th floor.

When the door opened I walked out with them behind me. I pulled out the key from my coat pocket and opened the door to apartment number 178.

“Is this where you live?” Nat asked walking inside and looking at the living room.

“Yep”

“It’s a nice place” she replied and I nodded

“You guys sit down while I put Mia in her bed-”

“No! Can I pick her up?” Nat exclaimed and I nodded

I gave Mia to Nat and she smiled.

I took my coat off and pulled my hair in a ponytail.

“Emily, Alec is a mess!” Liam stopped me from going to the kitchen.

“Do you guys want som-”

“No! Just listen to us. Please” Liam pleaded and I turned around and sat on the sofa.

“Tell me” I uttered

“You tell us why you left?” Nat asked

“Didn’t you get my letter?” I asked and she scoffed

“That letter? It’s in Alec’s office, locked in a drawer.” She said and I nodded slowly

“I left because I-I was Alec’s weakness”

“But you left him alone, he’s dying Emily, he’s not good”

“What!” I shouted standing up

“He’s not literally dying but it’s better if he did. I swear Emily, what you did to him isn’t good” Nat explained

“What did I do? Alec is strong enough to look after himself” I mumbled sitting down

“No he’s not! Do you even know what he does? No because you weren’t there!” Nat shouted and Mia started crying.

I picked Mia up and walked to her room. Mia’s room, was really nice. Me and Linda made it the best room we could for her. It had baby blue walls, with a gold glitter designs. I put Mia in her small bed.

“Mama!” She cried

“It’s okay Mia. Shush. Go to sleep okay!” I cooed and she kept quiet.

I pulled the covers over her, and walked out the room.

“I’m sorr-” I shook my head at Nat.

“It’s okay” I muttered sitting down on the sofa.

“Alec he’s drinking again. Every night. He doesn’t go to sleep, he sleeps with every girl he can find in a club” Liam said

“I don’t feel any pain?” I questioned

“Because it’s been a whole year Emily. He tried looking for you for months, but then he gave up. He doesn’t know we’re here” Liam said

“He thinks we’re on honeymoon”

“You got married!” I exclaimed happy for them and Nat nodded

“Yep. Last week. But Emily please come back” Nat said

“I can’t Nat. I have a life here, I have friends here” I said just as the door opened and Linda walked in.

“Emily! Joe asked me on- oh” she stopped talking when she saw Liam and Nat.

“Oh. I didn’t know we were having guests. I’m Linda” she waved sitting on sofa next to me.

“Liam and my wife Nat” Liam nodded and she nodded

“You’re married? You look very young...This looks important. I’ll let you guys carry on. I’ll check on Mia” she smiled and walked away, when she saw Nat’s glare

“You’re living with humans?” Liam asked

“There’s nothing wrong with humans Liam. Linda is really nice. She helped me when I came here” I explained

“Please Emily. Come back! You can’t keep Mia away from him. If you don’t come, I’ll tell Alec where you are” Nat stood up

“Nat please”

“No. Look Emily. You’re coming with us. I don’t care what you say or do. Go pack your ba-actually I’ll come with you” Nat said pulling me up

“Na-”

“No! Liam you go get Mia and pack her bags” Nat ordered and Liam walked away

I walked to my room, as Nat pulled out a suitcase from under my bed. She walked to my small closet and put stuff inside.

“Nat I do-”

“I know I’m forcing you Emily, but Alec needs you. Do you know how many rouge attacks we have had. Hunters, getting inside our land. Emily, Alec needs you” she sighed

“Bu-”

“Please” she whispered and I nodded slowly.

“Thank you” she smiled putting clothes in my suitcase.

“Emily are you leaving!” Linda shouted running into the room.

“I have to go Linda. I’m going to go see Mia’s dad” I smiled at her sadly

“Oh. But what about Joe? I need help with him?” She sighed

“Really? I’ll give you one advise! Don’t you use your Linda charm on the first date!” I smirked at her and she nodded

“Remember to come back okay.” She said and I nodded as Liam came into the room with Mia and a suitcase.

“We ready to go?” He asked and Nat nodded closing my suitcase.

“Linda, my paycheck is on the table. You can pay for the rent this week. On me” I said and she smiled and hugged me tightly

“Thank you Emily. For everything. I’ll miss you. But I’ll miss Mia more” she let me go and smiling at Mia.

“I’ll miss you too”

“Shall we go?” Liam asked and I nodded

“Bye” I waved at her and we walked out of the apartment.

Am I ready to see Alec? I thought.

Of course you are! Ava exclaimed back to me and I blocked her out.

I’m in Texas and the weather is a lot different than England.

“Don’t worry Emily” Nat said to me and I nodded as we sat in the car. I put Mia on my lap

“You happy?” I asked her

“Mama!”

I stayed quiet as we reached the castle. Liam drove inside and parked the car outside as everyone looked and the car.

“Don’t worry. They’re just happy to see you” Liam said getting out the car.

I picked Mia up and got out the car, as everyone stared at us.

“You can come with me” Nat said and I nodded

I followed her inside the castle, closing the door behind me.

“Alec! Come down here now!” Nat shouted and I quickly turned around.

“Nat!” I whispered harshly

“What do-” I heard his voice. It sent chills up my body, the good ones.

He walked down the steps, only wearing jeans.

“What do you wan-” he stared at me as he reached the bottom of the steps.

“Al-” he growled lowly and ran towards me. I closed my eyes when he hugged me tightly.

“Emily” he whispered sniffing my neck. He smelled of sex.

“Hey! Alec where did you go!” A blond girl walked downstairs in a big shirt.

Alec let me go and looked at her.

“Nat make her forgot it and send her back” he ordered and Nat walked back upstairs with her.

“Emily” he growled at me.

“You had sex with her?” I asked quietly

“Yes! What are you going to do? Leave? Go right ahead” he turned around

“Are you not going to meet your daughter?” I asked ignoring the hurt I saw in his eyes

He quickly turned around, looking at Mia, in my hands.

“She looks like me” he whispered staring at her. He picked her up and hugged her tightly as she giggled.

“Mama” she clapped her hands

“Daddy. Say it. Daddy” he mumbled to her smiling

“She doesn’t talk” I said and he nodded and walked away with Mia.

“Where are you taking Mia” I asked following him.

“Mia? I love it” he smiled at her going to the kitchen. I followed them to see bottles of vodka on the floor, and the kitchen counter.

“Alec!” I exclaimed and he looked at me.

“I c-” I picked Mia up and walked out of kitchen.

“Emily!” Alec shouted running out of the kitchen and standing in front of me.

“What! Mia is not going to be around alcohol” I exclaimed just as the door opened and Liam walked in.

“Liam clean the kitchen” Alec ordered and took Mia out of my arms. He started walking upstairs

I followed him upstairs just as he slammed the door to a room and locked it.

“Alec!” I banged on the door.

“Go away Emily. I want to spend time with my daughter. The one I haven’t seen for a whole year” he shouted and I sighed.

“I’ll be downstairs” I whispered walking away knowing he had a right.
