Mom wasn’t letting me out of the room.

“Please mom” I pleaded sitting on the bed.

“Look Emily, I can’t let you out. Your going to be in heat for a couple of days, and all of these men are going to stare at you!” Mom finally explained

“Heat?”

“It’s when you feel- I don’t know how to explain it properly. It’s like you want to be with your mate all the time. Extreme Desire” she said and I blushed.

“Oh” I muttered and she nodded

“I know! Weird right? But you want your mate more in these days. And all the un mated, mates want you. So I just want you to be safe. You can come out, but the thing is once a guy come into this house, I want you to go upstairs to your room and lock your door okay” she said and I nodded

“Emily, I have to tell you something” she stopped me from getting up

“Yes?”

“Your pregnant”

“I know mom” I replied confused

“No Emily. Your first baby, it didn’t die” she muttered

“What?”

“When I hugged you yesterday, that’s when I found out. Remember my powers? With that” she explained

“So the baby is still there? But I thought I was already pregnant ” I mumbled touching my stomach

“Yes, but you weren’t. Kayden checked you right? So he must of thought it was the same”

“But Ben said that he got rid of it”

“He must of been lying. Let’s go downstairs”

“Okay” I replied standing up

“I want to go eat!” I exclaimed happy knowing that it wasn’t my fault, and that my baby didn’t die.

“Let’s go. I’ll tell Oli to get you a cake” mom said opening a door and I nodded

I followed her downstairs, to the kitchen where Oli, dad and Maddy were.

“Hey Emily. How are you feeling?” Maddy asked and I smiled sitting down on a chair

“I’m good.” I said laying my head in the counter

“Are you ok-” just then a guy walked into the room, with black eyes. He smirked at me and Oli punched him.

“Leave her alone! Out!” Oli shouted using his Alpha voice and the guy ran out of the kitchen.

“Is she in heat?” Maddy asked and mom nodded

“Yeah. Because she’s pregnant, she’ll bee in heat for a couple of days” mom explained and they nodded.

“I’m going go upstairs and lay down” I stood up and walked out the room.

I went upstairs to my room, closed the door behind me and laid in bed. It was about 4 in day, and I was a little bored.

All day I was either sleeping, eating or watching TV. When I came home yesterday, Oli was really happy.

I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep

I was locked into a room, and I was alone. All dark, no windows, no nothing.

“Cameron? Please let me out! I promise to be good” I screamed banging on the door.

“After what you did? Trying to get Adam to like you?” I heard Cameron’s voice behind the door

“I didn’t! I didn’t do anything!”

“Actually locking you up isn’t a good enough punishment.” He opened the door taking his belt off.

He pulled me towards him and pulled my shirt off.

“Now count!” He wiped me and I screamed

“I said count!” He did again and I screamed.

“Emily”

“Ah” I gasped and opened my eyes to see Jack looking at me.

“Jack?” I mumbled confused

“Are you okay? I didn’t get to see you yesterday or today. I was busy with Amanda. But I thought these nightmares stopped?” He asked

I looked around my room to see Oli, Maddy, my parents and Amanda, who was glaring at me. Okay.

“Hm? They did stop” I muttered to Jack, and sat up slowly in bed. I couldn’t feel my legs but I didn’t want to mention it to anyone.

“Jack? Shall we go?” Amanda called out

“You go and I’ll come” he said and she rolled her eyes and walked out the room.

“Is Amanda okay?” I asked

“She is sweetie. It’s just that Jack was talking to you, and she got jealous. When your mate marks you, you tend to get jealous even more. Don’t worry about her. Jack why don’t you go after her?” Mom said and he nodded, walked out of the room.

“Ar-” Oli’s eyes glazed over. After a couple of minutes, he was normal, and he turned to dad.

“He’s here” he muttered and him and dad walked out of the room.

“What’s wrong, mom? Wh-” I could feel my body warming up.

My legs, my thighs, my hands, everything.

“Emily, it’s okay Emily. I’m going to close this door so no one enters. Okay, I promise it gets better, it will only be for a couple of minutes” mom said and I nodded taking deep breaths.

She and Maddy walked out, locking the door behind them.

“Emily!” I heard Alec’s voice, outside.

“Emily please! You need me! I need you Emily. Please!” I heard his voice again. All of a sudden I heard a bang downstairs and my door handle rattle.

“Emily! Please Emily. Don’t do this to me- you’re in heat?” He asked confused his voice going deeper, more husky

“Alec-” I moaned turning around in bed. I had to stop myself from opening the door.

“Open it Emily!” He shouted banging on the door.

“Leave her alone!” I heard Oli shout.

“No! Emily!” Alec shouted and I laid on my stomach trying to get relief.

All of a sudden my door was opened and Alec walked in.

“Thank you bethany” he muttered closing the door and locking it behind him.

“Why” I heard dad’s voice

“They need to talk Jaxon. And she needs him!” Mom shouted before I heard everyone walk away.

“Em-”

“Just help me Alec” I whispered and he walked towards me

“I know you had a nightmare. Well I guessed it. And I can’t help you like that Emily. Your legs don’t work remember” he muttered picking me up.

Once he touched me I felt a little bit better.

“How are you doing that?” I moaned a little, knowing my face was heating up

“Its my touch. It relieves you. You need a hot bath Emily” he put me on the toilet seat and turned the bath on.

“Don’t Alec” I grabbed his hand.

“I can’t do anything Emily” he mumbled as I pulled him towards me.

“Just a little please?” I asked softly looking up at him.

“A little” he muttered getting down on his knees. He took my leggings off and touched my thighs.

“Please Alec” I moaned

“Is that okay?” He asked looking up at my red face.

“Hmm” I replied embarrassed

“Don’t be embarrassed Emily. I’m your mate. I can do this. Plus you taste amazing, like chocolate, my favourite” he whispered licking his lips slowly.

He picked me up and put me in the hot bath.

“This should help with the pain as well.” He took my white top off leaving me in nothing.

“Why aren’t-”

“I didn’t want. It was hurting me” I whispered closing my eyes and laying in the water.

“Okay. Emily can we talk abou-”

“Why did you come here Alec?” I asked opening my eyes to see him sat on the edge of the bath.

“I needed to see you” he whispered and I nodded.

“You’ve seen me, now you can leave Alec”

“Leave you in this state, where all those horny assholes see you! I don’t think so” he growled lowly

“I need to explain to you Emily. Do you think I would lie to you?” He asked getting on his knees and leaning against the bath, to look at me.

“No” I whispered

“Because I love you too much Emily. If I lie to you, I don’t feel great. I feel like killing myself. And I haven’t lied to you. Can I explain everything that happened? Please?” He asked and I nodded

“When me and the guys reached the pack house, we all went inside. I told everyone to go inside everyone’s rooms, and put their stuff in black bin liners, and write their name on it. I went to my office, because I knew it had a lot of craft type things inside. So I thought you might like that. While I was putting paint inside the bag, the door opened and you walked in. I was confused because you said you were with the little girls, so I asked you-”

“It wasn’t me Alec” he ignored me and continued.

“So I asked you about the girls, and you said they all went home. You walked towards me, and said that you missed me. I said I missed you too. And then you kissed me. Emily what am I meant to do if you kiss me?” He asked and I closed my eyes and shrugged

“Kiss you back. Because I love you Emily, and I love your lips. So when you kissed, it didn’t feel like your lips, but I thought it might because your sick. So it went a little further, you know I can’t stop myself when I’m with you. So I took your top off and then stopped. I knew you were sick, and I didn’t want to make you worse, so I stopped. You asked why and I told you, because you’re sick. You said no! You literally screamed at me. And after that I don’t remember anything. But when your dad came to us, I was laying in bed, naked. And I was confused but I didn’t question it.” He explained

“I don’t understand Alec, because if you ask everyone I was here” I muttered and he stood up

“That’s what I don’t understand Emily. You were with me, and everyone is saying that you were there. How can you be in two places at the same time? Do you have a power like that?” He asked running a hand threw his hair.

“Alec I don’t have all the powers! I saw you with Anna. I saw it with my own eyes.” I said to him.

“That’s what I don’t understand Emily. I’ll call Anna!” He exclaimed pulling his phone out.

He typed on his phone and it started ringing.

“It’s on speaker” he said to me.

“Hi Alec!” We heard her voice exclaim.

“Anna! Anna did you come to Texas back?” Alec asked

“What no! I love it here!” She muttered

“Okay. I want you to come back Anna. As fast as you can” he hung up and stared at me.

“It wasn’t Anna” he said

“So you’re saying I lied? Okay” I mumbled and he shook his head

“I didn’t say that! Did you hear me say those words?” He exclaimed.

“I can feel my legs now Alec. Can you leave?” I asked and he shook his head and grabbed a towel.

“No” he helped me up and wrapped a towel around myself.

I stepped out of the bath and walked out of the bathroom.

“Alec you ca-” I turned around just about to slip when Alec grabbed me.

“I’m not leaving” he stated helping me up. He walked me to the bed and made me sit down, as he walked to my closet.

“Do you want to wear a bra Emily?” He asked and I shook my head

“Okay.” He grabbed a big maxi dress and walked towards me.

“I can wear it myself Alec” I muttered as he helped me stand up and wear my panties. He dried me off, and got down on his knees

He kissed my stomach and looked up at me.

“I didn’t do it Emily. But if saying I did, will bring you back then I did. I did do it. Will you come back with me now?” He asked and I shook my head.

“No Alec. I want to stay here” he sighed and helped me wear the dress.

“I’ll stay with you” he said

“No! I’m serious Alec. Just leave. Please” I whispered pulling my hand out of his.

“Bu-”

“No Alec. You’ve hurt me. And then you’re lying as well. I just need sometime alone”

“Time alone? Why do you keep pushing me away Emily!” He yelled

“Pushing you away? You push me away Alec. I try and try to get you to talk to me, but no! You push me away. You don’t want to tell me so I don’t want to tell you as well!” I yelled back.

“I’ll tell you everything you want to know. But please, Emily don’t leave me” he cupped my face

“I-I’m not leaving you Alec. I just need some time”

“Time? A few hours right? So I can stay-”

“No Alec. I want weeks. I want to be alone. Why can’t you just understand!” I shouted moving back.

“You’re not making me understand Emily. Why can’t we just go home, and talk abo-”

“Talk about it? What’s there to talk about Alec? You called Anna, you don’t believe me”

“But why would Anna lie to me? Shes my friend” He asked

“The same way Cameron was” I muttered and walked out the room leaving him shocked.

I walked downstairs and to the living room to see Maddy sat there.

“Are you okay Emily? I could hear it” she asked and patted the seat next to her. I sat down and laid my head on her shoulder.

“He doesn’t believe me Maddy. He called Anna and he believes her” I whispered tears rolling down my face

“Shush” she ran a hand threw my hair.

“Emily!” I heard Alec voice and I quickly sat up and wiped my face.

“Emily please!” He walked into the room

“She doesn’t want to talk to you Alec. Look, just give her some time, and go back to your own pack” Maddy stood up

“No! I’m not leaving without Emily!” He exclaimed

“Alec. She doesn’t want to talk to you. Why don’t you go home, and then come back later.”

“Emily?” He looked at me.

“I don’t want to talk now Alec. Please?” I muttered and he nodded as Maddy sat down.

“Okay. I’ll go, but I’m not leaving you” he leaned down and pecked me.

“I love you Emily” he mumbled against my lips and then walked out of the room.

“He does love you” Maddy smiled at me.

“Then why would he do it?”

“What if he didn’t? Oliver told that Anna is a witch. And you know witches knows magic? She’s capable of doing anything” Maddy muttered

“I thought that too. I honestly did think that Anna would do something like that, but Cameron said that Alec wants me only for my tittle, and that I’m not accepting the fact that he doesn’t want me” I told her and she sighed

“Emily, Cameron was an asshole. I bet you 99.9 percent that he was just trying to get into your head. And tittle? Really Emily? Do you think Alec needs more tittle. He is known to me the Alpha King before he even found you. I don’t think he needs a bigger tittle than that.” She told me

“Really? So he isn’t lying to me?” I mumbled

“I think he’s not lying to you, because I’ve seen the way he looks at you, Emily. In his eyes you’re perfection. And when he says he can’t live without you, I think he means it. Why don’t you rest and think about it, and in the morning with a fresh mind you can decide” she said and I nodded

“Thank you Maddy.” I smiled at her and she nodded

“What’s sisters for?” She smiled and I nodded

I think I might go back. Alec does need me.
