After Nathan ended the call with Eugene IV, his face had clouded over. He rarely looked this concerned.

According to Eugene IV, a vampire outbreak was happening in Adrune.

Vampires have been attacking people across several countries and states. Those who were bitten would be infected and turned into bondslaves.

When a large number of humans were transformed into bondslaves, their insatiable craving for blood caused them to attack the people living in the vicinity. The situation was getting worse.

Many isolated villages were decimated when their inhabitants were transformed into vampires.

Even in the city, vampires would appear during the day, stalking their unsuspecting prey and preying on their blood.

It had come to light that in the tumultuous region of Adrune, several nations had recently declared a state of siege as a measure to combat the rising civil unrest and potential threat to public security. As a result, the authorities deployed soldiers to conduct extensive patrols and keep a watchful eye on the streets, in an effort to ensure that peace and order were maintained throughout the affected countries.

Even so, the situation continued to worsen. Every day, countless citizens in the countryside fell prey to the vampires and turned into bondslaves.

Nathan, like many others, was caught completely off guard by the sudden massive attack and severity of the outbreak. Swiftly multiplying and spreading to all corners of the world, the vampire horde grew to an unprecedented scale, leaving in its wake a trail of chaos and destruction.

The contagion had spread to Eurasia as a bondslave was seen in the region, and it was grave news.

A few hours later, the plane finally landed at Brimmopolis.

The airport was crowded with armed royal guards led by Sage.

Behind Sage were the Great Cabinet members, including Zion and the like.

Only then did the passengers realize they were on the same flight with the president.

Before they could grow excited, they were asked to get off the plane.

Nathan, Penny, Colin, Ava, and the rest also got off the plane.

"Welcome back to Brimmopolis, President Cross," the soldiers greeted in unison.

Zion and the other Cabinet members stepped forward to welcome Nathan.

Nathan gave Zion a warm hug and chuckled. "Mr. Lucas, thank you for your hard work. I know everyone else must've worked hard, too."

Zion flashed a smile. "It's my job, so please don't say that."

The sight of the Elite Eight leading a tied bondslave off the plane brought a frown to Zion's face.

Nathan gave him a quick explanation of what had happened earlier.

The smile on Zion's face disappeared. In its place was a grave expression.

"Today, we have received alarming reports of a catastrophic vampire apocalypse wreaking havoc in foreign lands. There are also reports of innocent civilians being viciously attacked by the vampire horde, and numerous cases of people transforming into vampires, the foreign media had initially attempted to suppress the news. However, as the situation spiraled out of control, they were forced to reveal the terrifying reality of the situation. Furthermore, there have been disturbing reports of suspected vampires targeting ordinary citizens in Eurasia, causing grave concerns to the populace. In light of these developments, the Cabinet held an emergency meeting and arrived at a unanimous decision to fortify our defenses and prevent the outbreak from spreading to our shores."

Nathan nodded, "Good job! We'll hold a joint meeting between the White House, the Cabinet, and the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor later. The cabinet and the military have to partake in the mission of keeping the vampire outbreak off our shores."Content

Everyone replied in unison, "Understood!"

Nathan and his entourage returned to the White House and gathered the ministers to hold a meeting.

Penny also joined the meeting.

As it transpired, she believed that the vampires would bite humans, infecting them with blood virus, and subsequently transforming them into bondslaves.

As the general manager of the largest medical conglomerate in Eurasia with influence that extended beyond its borders, she wanted to make a meaningful contribution to global peace and stability.

In fact, Penny had spoken to Nathan in private.

In light of the vampire crisis, Cross

Group has decided to temporarily suspend alkother research and focus their efforts on creating an

antidote to the vampires' blood net

virus. The goal is to save the

humans who have been bitten by the vampires and prevent them from

becoming vampires' bondslaves.

At the meeting, Nathan declared a State of Emergency, calling for all departments, including the military, to remain on high alert at all times and set up security measures to prevent the vampire crisis from spreading to Eurasia. He also announced that Cross Group would start to do research an antidote to the vampires' blood virus.

Lastly, he directed the deployment of two thousand members of Peacekeeping Force to Adrune, with the mandate to assist those countries with favorable relations with Eurasia in containing the vampire menace.
