Salute To The General

Chapter 3111

A clone?

Struck with a sudden realization, Nathan spun around and scanned the area for Max. However, the latter was already long gone.

At that moment, the two Gods of Warrior of the Seven Continents and Apollyon warriors were also thinking of sneaking away.

Nathan's expression turned grim. "No wonder this Patriarch's powers seem rather lackluster. It turns out he's only a clone. I can't believe Max took the chance to flee. In any case, the rest of you can forget about leaving."

With that, he darted forward, moving so swiftly that he appeared as a blur, and began hunting down the vampires.

Returning to their senses, Hepburn and the others joined the fray, pursuing and killing those running away.

Half an hour later, most of Max's subordinates were beheaded. Only a few managed to escape.

Meanwhile, it was utter chaos outside Golden Sand Hotel.

When the reporters saw Catherine and the rest shrieking while dashing out of the hotel, their first thought was that there had been an attack at the Eight-Nation Alliance's summit. They only discovered later that vampires had shown up.

In the end, Hepburn appeared as a representative of the Curia to explain the situation to the reporters, and that was how they finally learned that Max was actually a vampire.

On top of that, they also found out he had wanted to seize the opportunity during the summit to turn the other countries' representatives into vampires.

Fortunately, the Curia had received word of the plan and taken measures to prepare for such an occurrence, thus saving Catherine and the others. The reporters were dumbfounded.

What the Curia's Holy Maiden just revealed is just too shocking. Max, the Five-star General from Ariarica, is actually a vampire! What's more, he wanted to turn Catherine and the other nations' representatives into vampires too! What on earth was Max thinking? Did he intend to turn all those influential figures from various countries into vampires so he could sow the seeds for some secret motive? Could it be that the vampires are plotting an uprising and planning to replace humans as the new masters of Earth? The thought of that terrified them.

Of course, some reporters were practically bouncing off the walls. They felt that there was no way vampires could threaten the position of humans. On the contrary, they viewed the news merely as a juicy piece of gossip worthy of taking over the headlines across the world.

Hence, many reporters got down to work and relayed the first-hand information they had obtained to their respective companies, scrambling to be the first to release the shocking revelation. Over in Ariarica, Bryon soon got wind of the story.

"How absurd. It's utterly ridiculous! What are the members of the Curia doing? Why must they spread such rumors to slander Max? Are they deliberately going against me?"

All his subordinates in the office lowered their heads as he flew into a rage, not daring to utter a single word for fear of incurring his wrath.

After venting his anger, he finally calmed down and instructed, "Get Max to call me at once. I want to speak to him and ask him what he's playing at."

A blonde-haired assistant dressed in a skirt suit replied cautiously, "I'm afraid he's uncontactable, President Bryon."

What?

Surprised and furious, Byron was

about to lose his temper again when she handed him a document and continued gravely, "We also have some information here. It's from the representatives of the Eight-Nation Alliance. They've expressed their displeasure, saying that Max is a vampire and even plotted to harm them..."

Hearing that, Bryon was stunned.

The Curia has always maintained that Max is a vampire, but I never believed it for a second. After all, his contributions to the military are clear for all to see. How could he be a

vampire? But now, the Curia has

declared he's a vampire once again.

Even Catherine and the otheagain.

répresentatives from the→

Eight-Nation Alliance have voiced their protests, claiming that Max is a vampire and is attempting to harm them.

That aroused Bryon's suspicions, and he had no choice but to look into this matter seriously.

After perusing the information the female assistant handed him, he plopped down on his seat, looking grim.

Then, he raised his head and uttered angrily, "Pull out all the stops to keep the impact of this incident to a minimum. Also, find Max no matter what it takes and bring him to me." The female assistant asked, "What if there's really something wrong with him, and he refuses to meet with you?"

Bryon was silent for a few seconds before answering frostily, "I don't care what you do. If necessary, utilize the harshest methods to get your hands on him and bring him to meet me." "Understood."
