Revenge Vows: A Forced Marriage Mafia Romance (Ruthless Mafia Sinners)

Chapter 11

He is an insatiable monster, but I am finding that I am taking so much pleasure from the pain. I know that I have to tire him out. It’s the only way I can get out of here. I am certain that I cannot survive another night in a vermin-filled basement.

So I clutch the bed and close my eyes as he spins my body to all the angles that he pleases—taking all of me.

It would be false to say that fucking him isn’t like magic. I struggle to keep myself from getting too lost in the pleasure he’s giving me, making sure to keep him hooked.

Finally, he falls asleep, leaving his cum all over me.

I take a quick shower and clean myself up, making a mental note to get the morning-after pill, well, that is, if I make it out of here alive.

When I come out of the bathroom, I can hear his gentle snores as he sleeps naked on the bed. I take a moment to look at his nude body. He is perfectly chiseled. He might as well be some kind of god with corded muscles wrapped in mysterious tattoos.

A few days ago, fucking Antonio Russo was a dream come true. Now, he is nothing more than a terrible brute who has kept me captive against my will.

I tear my eyes away from him, and I get to work. I have no way of telling time, but given how long he fucked me, it should be the early hours of the morning. That means I have only a couple of hours before day breaks. I can only escape under the cover of darkness. I pull open his closet silently, and I rifle through his clothes.

I find what I am looking for. A black shirt, black pants, and a black cap. The pants fit so loosely that I decide to ditch them and I make do with the shirt. It’s long enough to cover my thighs and fall just above my knees.

I walk over to his chest of drawers, and I open it as silently as I can. I pick up his gun and stare at it.

It feels ice cold. I have never used a gun, but if I must use it to get out of this place, then I will. I grab two more things, a belt, and a flashlight I find under his bed.

Before I leave the room, I flirt with the idea of sending a bullet through his head and ending it. He deserves it for the humiliation of the last few weeks, but who am I kidding? Not only would his men kill me, they would also kill my mother and Laura. And, I admit to myself, I just can’t do it.

With one last look at him, I slide through the door and begin to walk down the abandoned hallway. I hear the guards talking at one end of the mansion, so I know to go the other way. I reach the front entryway and see some of the guards huddled in deep conversation. Their backs are turned to the door.

I look at Antonio’s belt, which I’m holding, and I toss it across the room. The guards turn toward the thud, and I immediately slip through the door and run off as they pull their guns, searching for the source of the sound.

I stumble blindly out of the house, praying to the heavens that there are no guards outside. It’s the wee hours of the morning, and luckily, I don’t run into any of Antonio’s men as I escape.

I run to the back of the house, and I stop before a wall that is thick with ivy. I have no idea what is on the other side, since going through the gate hasn’t been an option during my time here.

Scaling the wall is my only hope.

I run to the barrier, looking around, making sure that I am not being followed. Laura and I used to go to the climbing wall as kids. It’s easy for me to scale up, and when I get to the top, I sigh with relief because there is a long stretch of road before me. I take a deep breath and jump down, landing with a jolt.

My body reverberates with the shock, but I pick myself up quickly. I have to put distance between the mansion lest I get caught.

I don’t know how long I walk, but the sun starts to rise, and the night melts into day.

The road seems like it’s never going to end. I push myself forward. There has to be something at the end of the road, or at least something that will help me.

After what seems like ages, a dusty red car appears. I feel my heart leap as I wave to it. It slows down as it gets close to me, and the window rolls down as I approach.

“Please, can I get a ride to the city?” I beg, looking in the window. The words dry in my mouth as the driver pulls down his sunglasses.

He has a thick scar that extends from his outer lip to his ear. And on his neck, there are visible tattoos. I step back with wobbly legs. “Never mind.”

He grins, showing half-rotten teeth. “But I want to help. Get in,” he says.

I force a smile and shake my head. “No, thank you, sir,” I say, walking backward.

The door opens, and three men step out of his car. I gasp as I recognize them. They are the men who wrecked my house.

“I won’t ask nicely if I have to ask again. Get in,” the man at the wheel says.

***

I have been kidnapped for the second time. Maybe I am cursed. Maybe this is my life now; to be prey to strange men.

Screw that. I am going to get myself out of this mess. And when I do, I’m going to escape to a deserted island with Mama and Laura.

My hands are tied, and so is the rest of my upper body. I am sitting on a stool in an empty room, at a loss as to how I am in this position again. At least this room has windows and there are no rats. The door opens, and the man with the scar enters, followed by another man.

The new man is tall and slender. His hair is grown out like Antonio’s, but his hair is a harsh blonde. He has a pleasant smile on his face.

Immediately he sees me, and he turns to the scar-faced man. “And why is my guest tied up? Untie her at once!”

Scarface looks confused, but he walks up to me, proceeding to untie me.

Blondie smiles at me as he watches the man untie the ropes. I rub my sore hands as soon as I am free.

“That must have been uncomfortable. That’s much better,” he says to me.

He turns to the scarred man. “Jun, if you ever tie up a beautiful woman that tightly again, I’ll make another scar across your eye. Do you understand?”

The confused man nods.

“Now apologize to her,” the blonde guy orders. The man mutters an apology before he leaves the room. The blonde guy turns to me with a smile.

Something is familiar about him, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

“Sorry about the shitty reception. My men have no idea how to treat a breathtaking lady. May I make up for their folly?” he asks.

I stare at him blankly.

He chuckles. “Where are my damn manners? I haven’t introduced myself, have I? Silly me!”

He steps closer to me. “I am Giovanni.”

Shivers run down my spine at his name.

It’s the name that has preceded all my troubles. My life was going just fine until I heard that name, and all hell seemed to have broken loose since. My life has turned to shambles.

I went from returning home from my shift to have lunch with my mother and sister to being tied up in the basement with a crazy man who decided to marry me against my will.

“It’s you,” I say.

He smiles. “I know that we haven’t had the best introduction to one another. But I want to change that if you will let me,” he says.

I get up. “What do you want from me?” I ask.

“At first, I just wanted my money. Your father owed me a lot before he passed, you know?” he says.

In all the madness lately, I forgot about the debt already. I swallow.

“I will work every day of my life if I have to. I will Pay you every dime my family owes you.”

He waves his hands. “There is no need for that. At first, you were going to be enough to pay the debt,” he says.

He begins to pace around me, staring at me.

“My men sent a picture of a green-eyed, long-haired beauty, and I thought to myself, I will make a fortune with her. I had a picture in my head for you, Alyssa,” he says.

He stops behind me, and chills run down my spine. “Men would kill to be with a beauty like you. You and I would have made an unbeatable team,” he says.

“I don’t want that life,” I say.

He paces until he faces me. “Darling, you have no choice. You have a debt to pay and oh, I intend to make you pay for it the hard way,” he says with a hardness in his tone.

The faux friendliness has faded away.

“Then fucking Antonio had to find a way to ruin all the fun. He has always been a damn party-pooper,” he sighs.

He looks up at me. “I forgot to say, I hope that you have a happy married life. He sent me the video.”

I look away as shame makes my cheek heat up.

“Not gonna lie, it pissed me off. I mean, you would have made me so much money. Look at those tits,” he says.

I pull my shirt over my chest. “What do you want from me? Why am I here?”

“You’re damaged goods now,” he says.

I swallow at his words.

He says mockingly. “No darling, I don’t mean to hurt you. It’s just that none of my men really want a woman who has been fucked by Antonio.”

My body reacts with repulsion. “So what do you want?” I ask again.

He peers into my face. “You detest him, don’t you?” he asks.

I smile. “Yes, I despise him as much as I despise you right now.”

He claps his hands excitedly. “You might be more interesting than I thought,” he says.

He looks around and then back at me.

“Follow me,” he says. He walks out the door, and I follow him. He gets into a car, and I stare at it.

“Get in already,” he calls.

I sigh and get into the car.

He drives silently down the dusty road, and we pull up to a beach. We get out of the car, and the violent sea breeze attacks us at once. He smiles and inhales.

“We might still make a perfect team after all,” he says. He turns to me. “I want you to help me kill Antonio Russo.”
