Chapter Chapter one
Freya stood in front of the mirror and her reflection showed an image that exuded elegance and simplicity. She was wearing a long dress without a voluminous skirt, but whose sleek lines set her off exceptionally well. The dress was a captivating ivory, with a V-neckline and floral sleeves. When she turned around, the dress revealed her back, decorated with chantilly lace and a delicate floral pattern that followed the line of her spine. Her hair was half up, with a vintage gold headband.
"My little friend, you look absolutely gorgeous, but you're not respecting the tradition of wearing the white wedding dress with the veil. I'm sure you'll leave many speechless," exclaimed Isis, her friend since she was reincarnated, and together they gathered strength for the day.
"It doesn't matter what other people think. From today, my revenge begins against those who led me to death in my past life. My future husband and the people of this pack will soon meet the true Freya Sith", she declared with an icy, emotionless gaze.
Just then, there was a knock on the door and both girls turned around. Isis asks. "Who is it?"
"Dear Freya, are you ready? Everyone is waiting in the temple of the moon goddess, the old sage and your companion are waiting for you at the altar," announces Agamemnon from the other side of the door to the room, specially prepared near the temple for the bride to get ready.
Since her rebirth, Freya had avoided meeting her mate. She had no desire to arrive at the herd before the wedding; all her belongings had been sent to the Apka manor that very day. A deep sigh escaped her lips and, in an unwavering voice, she declared.
"Come on, my friend, the time has come to face my destiny."
With firm steps, he walked to the door and opened it. When Agamemnon saw his daughter, his face lit up with satisfaction and, taking her by the hand, he said tenderly.
"You're beautiful, my little she-wolf. Barely a year ago, I thought I was offering you to your future husband in a white princess dress and a veil of flowers, but this new version of you, determined, bold and warlike, pleases me. Even if I'm not by your side to protect you, I know you'll take care of yourself and be an excellent companion for Crono, and a precious moon for this pack. You're truly magnificent, my little wolf. You're the spitting image of your late mother."
"Dad, you're going to make me cry," Freya replied without any emotion in her eyes, "You know I'm doing this because I have no other choice." Then she let out a deep sigh and continued, "We talked about this, and I need you to take care of yourself. If you need help or if the pack is in danger, let me know and I'll be there for you." Since his rebirth, he had lived in constant fear of not knowing who he could trust and who the traitor was in his pack who had given documents to the alpha chief of the southern region.
"My daughter, the day after your eighteenth birthday, you changed radically, distrusted everyone and wanted to call off your wedding. I don't understand what happened to you to change from one moment to the next. You know, I'm calm and happy that you're safe in the hands of your future husband".
She was the only daughter of Agamemnon, the leader of a powerful wolf pack. On her eighteenth birthday, she discovered that Crono was the mate destined for her, her companion. This revelation made it easier for Agamemnon to marry his daughter to the man he had loved since he first saw her. He decided to forge strategic alliances with Crono that would guarantee his daughter's happiness and Crono's elevation to supreme alpha of the northern wolflands. The union of his daughter with her mate would strengthen the pack and ensure a prosperous and secure future for all.

Freya whispered mentally. "If you only knew, Dad, that next to Crono is the least safe place for me, he thinks you're a traitor, but I'll prove him wrong. I'll avenge our suffering in the past life, Dad." She could only wince with her mouth. "Let's go, everyone's waiting for us," Isis interrupted, leaving the room.
Agamemnon took his place at her side and Freya put her hand around her father's arm, walking together towards the temple. Meanwhile, the crowd was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new moon of pride. They were looking forward not only to the wedding, but also to the ascension of the alpha to the head of their region.
As Freya entered the ancient sanctuary of the goddess Selene, accompanied by her father, her gaze drifted to the side, to the back of the temple. She recognized the man with the impassive face, whose seriousness was chilling. He murmured inwardly: "First I'm going to finish off the little fish, then the big fish, the one responsible for my mother's death. Enjoy it, dear uncle, you're the last on my list". In her previous life, excited about her marriage, she didn't notice the man watching her.
Meanwhile, Crono was furious to see her without a veil and thought, "I just had to follow protocol. She's laughing at me, even though I can't deny she looks beautiful and attractive in that dress. He shook his head and added in his mind: 'Stop thinking stupid things. "Stop thinking stupid things. She's the daughter of a traitor."
Freya stepped up to the altar with a mixture of anger and fear in her eyes. Although her legs trembled under the weight of tension, her face retained a mask of serenity. As she reached the altar before Crono, she felt her heart racing in her chest. He was struggling to control his emotions, holding back the fury to kill on the spot the man who had caused his father's death in his previous life.

The old wolf began the ceremony. At the moment of the vows, Freya, as moon of the pack, stunned everyone with the coldness of her words and the speed with which she pronounced her promises. The place was filled with astonishment, and the eyes of those present met.
Crono, uncomfortable with Freya's attitude in front of the people, delivered his speech of love calmly and without emotion.
"Alpha Crono, you may kiss the sample pack moon. announced the old wolf, bringing the ceremony to an end.
Crono took a step forward, but what he got was a brutal kiss. The coldness of Freya's lips sent a shiver of anger through his body.
As they parted, Freya, without wasting any time, turned on her heels and headed for the exit without looking back.
He clenched his fists and, keeping his cool, set off after her at full speed. He caught up with her just in time and ushered her into the black carriage that awaited the newlyweds.
"To the manor!" he shouted with a murderous glare, wanting to strangle his Luna on the spot for ridiculing him in front of his people. She was already testing his little patience.
