Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James)

Chapter 1054

Lennon took a deep breath, trying to stay composed. It was probably Colby who had invited this troublemaker.

Why did Odie have to show up today, of all days? The moment Lennon laid eyes on him, he knew Odie was up to no good.

"Sir, it's a day of celebration. The man has come to offer his congratulations. Turning him away would spoil the festive mood, wouldn't it?"

"Yes, sir. Why not let Mr. Odie come in for a toast?"

With everyone around him urging him to be gracious, Lennon realized that on such a beautiful, sunny day, he couldn't let Odie ruin the mood. So, he kept quiet.

Seeing Lennon relent, those who had been surrounding Odie backed off.

"Mr. Odie, your seat is over here," the butler said, stepping forward to guide him.

Odie merely glanced around at the merchants, who scattered like mice at the sight of a cat. Finally, he looked around, pointed to Lennon's table, and said, "I want to sit there." "Mr. Odie, that's the head table, reserved only for close family members."

"Is Reece family? What about Adler? Jenna seems like a distant relative, doesn't she? And since when did Angelo and Sandy from the Pollard family become relatives of the Costellos?"

Odie unleashed a barrage of questions, ending with sheer audacity: "I've set my sights on that table. Either let me sit at the head table, or I'll have someone come and wreck the place. Your choice." Seeing Odie play this card, the butler, with no other options, led Odie to the head table.

"Why does Odie get to sit here? I'm not happy about this!" Sandy couldn't even bear to give Odie another glance.

Odie shot Sandy a cold look and said, "Ms. Sandy, I suggest you keep your mouth shut, or I'll stitch it up for you."

"You..."

Sandy was about to explode in anger, but Angelo held her back. "Can you tone down your temper a bit? This is Summerfield, not some foreign land. Odie has the power here to bury you alive, believe it or not?"

"I..."

"Let's eat, let's eat!" Angelo said, trying to defuse the awkward situation. "When's lunch? I'm starving!"

Angelo's unusual behavior caught

when Angelo had led a group to trashhis business, the Mintons, he hadn't been like this.

Odie's attention. He remento line

Angelo soon felt Odie's gaze on him, as lethal as a serpent's. He tensed up, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

This was bad, really bad. James had

once ordered him to disrupt Odie and Vanessa's engagement party, and now they were sworn enemies Angelo had thought he'd never have to face Odie, but here they were, enemies meeting eye to eye. If it weren't for Colby and Sophie's wedding today, Odie might have killed him on the spot!

James, oh James, you've really put me in a tight spot! Who knew a mentor could be so treacherous?

"Bro, what's wrong with you? Why are you sweating?" Sandy asked, puzzled.

Angelo wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "It's nothing, just hot, I'm feeling hot."

Sandy's confusion deepened. The air conditioning in the venue was set to 64°F. How could he possibly feel hot?

Odie handed his invitation to Jonah, who quickly pocketed it.
