Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian)

Chapter 463

Chapter 463

The most talked-about event was the internal conflict on Phaedra Island.

Julian, along with the Sanders family's elder, Tan, conspired to kill many of the Sanders family experts. Renee couldn't bear the humiliation and had committed suicide.

As for the heir of the Sanders family, Harvey had fled and fell into the sea, his fate currently unknown.

As for the family patriarch Bruce, he was severely injured and imprisoned. The Sanders family was on the brink of collapse. However, Bruce managed to escape and came back stronger than ever.

Now, Bruce had regained control of the Sanders family and had engaged in several significant battles with the Lennon family.

The Lynch and York families chose to remain neutral.

Although Julian had promised them many benefits when dealing with Sebastian, an outsider, fighting the Sanders family was an internal matter.

Many within the two families opposed the conflict, and their leaders couldn't act unilaterally.

Of course, the primary reason was maintaining balance.

After Bruce regained control, Bradley brought his son Flynn to propose marriage. Lana agreed because she had no choice.

The Sanders family was severely weakened, and the Lennon family was allying with the Lynch family. Offending the York family at this time could be disastrous for them.

If the three families united against the Sanders family, it could mean their extinction.

Despite her reluctance, Lana had tearfully agreed. Bruce understood his daughter's sacrifice, and it pained him, but he saw no other option.

With Sebastian dead, marrying Flynn was the best choice to preserve the Sanders family.

Just like that, the Sander-York and Lynch-Lennon alliances achieved a balance many desired, but Julian was furious.

Julian had spent over a decade plotting to annex the Sanders family. He was close to success until Sebastian appeared and thwarted his plans.

Not only did several elders of the Lennon family die, but his beloved grandson was also rendered impotent, threatening the family's lineage.

Even though Sebastian was dead, Julian couldn't let go of his anger.

"Have you 1 found Lillian?" Julian asked the sixth elder, John Lennon, with a dark expression.

"We have a lead. She fled into a vast forest, making it hard to locate her," John replied.

"Deploy more people. We must find that woman," Julian ordered.

"Mr. Lennon Senior, there are many beautiful women out there. Why are you so fixated on her?" John asked, feeling puzzled.

"Ordinary women can't withstand the poison in my body. Only a woman with a spiritual body can," Julian replied coldly.

"You mean Lillian has a spiritual body? How do you know that?" John asked.

"A traitor from the Supreme Nexus told me. The information should be accurate. Since Sebastian that bastard crippled my only grandson, I'll make his woman bear me a son!" Julian said viciously.

The wedding day arrived in the blink of an eye. The Strauss residence was adorned with festive decorations that day.

Sebastian, keeping his promise, donned his wedding attire early in the morning.

He and Clara then completed their wedding ceremony in the presence of the three major families.

Though it was meant to be a joyous occasion, the guests' faces were devoid of smiles.

Many whispered curses, calling Sebastian a toad and a lackey undeserving of Clara.

Even the Strauss family members were unhappy, unable to understand why their patriarch insisted on marrying his only daughter to a housekeeper of unknown origin.

However, Theo was thrilled. He had everything planned and was eagerly waiting for nightfall to enter the wedding bedroom.

The thought of taking another man's bride excited him even more than his own wedding night.
