CLARE’S POV

Three packs, THREE! I really want to find my other mate. I love Mason but I feel a part of myself of my soul still empty without my other mate.

“We’re coming along the territory line for the Moon Eclipse Pack.” Mason mind-linked us. “POSITIONS!”

With that one word the guys closed in in front of me and at my sides. I was surrounded, except for behind me. Not that I minded very much.

‘I got a real good feel bout this pack boo’ Cearse said in her getto accent.

When we pulled up to the packhouse a lot of the pack was waiting for us to pull up.

In front was the alpha, luna, beta, 3rd in Command, and lady 3rd in Command. In the second role was the elite pack warriors and third role was the other warriors and on and on.

The smell was intoxicating, like apple pie with vanilla ice-cream. I was looking around for him when I finally laid eyes on him, he was gorgeous; he had blonde hair, hazel eyes, long eyelashes and full kiss-able lips. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a leather jacket over it and loose jeans that looked really good on him. He had tattoos that were leading down into his shirt, they looked like runes.

“Hello Alpha Taylor and Luna Michelle, how have you been,” Mason started sweet talking them.

“Yeah keep buttering them up, Mase. Either way I’m betting they’ll talk to us,” I said to Mason.

“CLARE!”

“What, did I say something wrong,” I asked with a smirk.

“So let’s go speak in private,” Luna Michelle said with a smile and a chuckle. She looked amused.

“Hi alpha, luna, I’m Clare it’s nice to meet you; do you know about the prophecy?”

“It’s nice to meet you too Clare, you can just call me Michelle, no totals, same goes for Taylor.”

“She gets right to the point Mason, I like her,” Taylor told Mason, “Now this prophecy, no I haven’t heard of it.”

“Do you have a book of records and important things,” I asked Taylor.

“Yes it’s in the meeting room, right this way.”

Taylor led us to a large room that looked exactly like Mason’s pack meeting room, just with more chairs.

“Do all meeting rooms look alike, and if so then why does yours have more chairs than ours?”

“Yes all meeting rooms look alike but because my pack has been around longer we have more pack elders. Even all the books are in the exact same places,” Taylor explained.

“Well then that is perfect for me!”

I walked over to the bookshelf and looked around. Exactly like Taylor said, all of the books were in the same place. When I pulled out the book I found the pages I was looking for.

“Here we go, I found it,” I said, ” from here I quote ‘The rarest wolf, the blue diamond wolf, shall be given three mates. A life of sadness and fear and pain, will come to be with the wolf. Rejected by one but found and loved by two. A girl with the heart of gold to fight the dark. Find her mates to find her powers, powers awarded by the goddess and the gods of the world. Together the three must unite to fight the dangers that come.’

“Wow, that’s a strong prophecy,” Michelle said frowning, ” and so I guess you are the girl from the prophecy and you are here to search for your other mate?”

“Actually I already have found him here-”

“Well who is he,” Michelle cut me off excitedly.

“I hope you have another person who can fill the spot as beta.”

“Oh you mean Jakeb,” Taylor stated.

“Don’t you mean Jacob-” Ly started

“Yeah like J-A-C-O-B, not Jakeb,” Jy ended the question.

JAKEB’S POV

“Alpha, Beta the alpha, luna, and betas of the Dark Lupus Moon Pack has just crossed over the line. They should be here within the next 2 minutes, sirs,” one of the elite warriors told me and Taylor.

“Ok, get everyone out front and in the right positions,” Tay told the Elite.

“Come on man we gotta get out there,” Tay said.

Taylor and me walked out the packhouse and got into position just as I heard motorcycles going off.

Then I smelled the most exquisite thing I’d ever smelled before a mixture of flowers, cinnamon and blueberries. Then I saw the girl behind the smell and she was just as exquisite.

She had brown hair with highlights that made her hair shine even more than it already does, even if it was in a pony tail. Her blue eyes were bright and beautiful, they shined like a clean clear sea water. She was wearing sexy clothes to go with her sexy face. Her leather jacket was dazzled with spikes but not the sharp kinds. She had on a white crop tops that said ‘I’m A Real Birch,’ and her pants were black too. She had on boots, spiky boots, the spikes like her jacket.

Then I realized something, she was the luna of the Dark Lupus Moon Pack. She decided to move on without her mate. I can’t believe how she could just do that. As we were watching each other, she gave me a smile and waved. When she tried to walk near me I just couldn’t do it, how hurt and betrayed as I was. I shook my head at her, I didn’t want her near me.

Finally I decided to listen to them talking, even though I didn’t want to hear her musical voice throughout my head.

“Yeah keep buttering them up, Mase. Either way I’m betting they’ll talk to us,” My mate said to Alpha Mason.

“CLARE,” Alpha Mason exclaimed. I guess my mates name is Clare.

“What, did I say something wrong,” Clare asked with a smirk.

“So let’s go speak in private,” Luna Michelle said with a smile and a chuckle. She looked amused.

~10 MINUTES LATER~

‘Jakeb come to the meeting room for information on your mate and on a prophecy’ Luna Michelle mind-linked me.

‘On my way’ I told her.

I walked over to the meeting room and opened the big mahogany doors. Then I heard my mate musical voice speaking

“Oh you mean Jakeb,” Taylor stated.

“Don’t you mean Jacob-” Beta Lyson started

“Yeah like J-A-C-O-B, not Jakeb,” Beta Jyson ended the question.

“Nah, Jakeb, with a K and an E. So beautiful, I gotta share you with Alpha Mason,” I said.

MASON’S POV

So we found him, Clare’s other mate, a beta. That look on her face when she saw him come through the doors. I’ll never forget the look.

“Hi I’m Clare,” she said to the beta sweetly.

“Beauty Clare, I’m Jakeb,” the beta told her, he was smiling at her like she was bigger than life itself. She giggled, it was like a whimsical voice in the sky but Clare never giggled at me.

“So want to go to lunch, alone?”

“Yeah sure but let me go talk to Mason and change” Clare said, “I’m gonna go to lunch with Jake. See you guys later.”

Before she left she walked over to me though, “I’ll be with my other mate, I’ll be safe. Don’t worry about me. I love you, Mason”

“Love You, too little mate,” I said to Clare, then we kissed.

“I’m ready to go Jakeb, can we go somewhere with pizza.”

Yeah baby, let’s go,” Jakeb said and they walked away holding hands.

CLARE’S POV

He is so dreamy, I already love him. I mean, who wouldn’t love him. All I could do was stare at him the entire way to the restaurant, I think it was a bit creepy but I can’t help it.

“So play 10 questions?”

“Yeah,” Jakeb said smiling.

“Uhm, 1. What’s your favorite color?”

“Blue and black”

“Mine too!”

My turn, 1. What’s your favorite food,” Jakeb asked me.

“I thought I made it obvious when I asked for pizza, my favorite food is pizza,” I answered his question, #2. How old are you?

“I’m 18 years old,” Jake answered, ” what’s your age?”

“I’m 17”

“#3. Do you have a girlfriend right now?”

“Ooh, let me call Marisa and break up with her,” Jakeb said.

“I hate you.”

“What,” Jake asked me surprised.

“I can’t believe that you were dating someone while waiting for your mate!”

I was nearly furious! I go to Mason’s pack to find no girls warning me to stay away from him but I come to meet my other mate and find out he has a girlfriend!

“I’m sorry baby,” Jakeb said giving my hand a kiss. He pulled the car into a parking lot of a building called ‘Moon Pizza Palace’, “Come on baby we’re here.”

“They have good pizza?”

“The best”

We got out the car and walked inside, the place was huge and bright. It looked looked amazing, it had neon lights up top and the tables were neon. There were games. And most of all, I could smell pizza and only pizza!

JAKEB’S POV

“Hello Beta Jakeb, Luna Clare, how may I help you today?”

“Table for 2, somewhere that we can’t hear all the noise from the kitchen,” Clare said in a voice that showed that she was made to be a Luna.

“Just the two of you, Alpha Mason, your mate, will not be joining you,” Lindsey, the waitress, asked smirking. I’m betting she thinks we’re trying to cheat on her other mate.

“Yes, just the two of us,” Clare declared in a booming voice I’ve only heard Luna Michelle use when she was mad. Lindsey put her head down in submission and started walking to a table.”

“Please follow me to your table Luna, Beta. Here we go, and here are your menus.

Just as Lindsey was about to walk away, well run away, Clare stopped her by touching her arm.

“Look at me, in the eyes. Don’t you ever think like that again, Lindsey, by thinking this you were committing treason. I won’t tell anyone about this and won’t do anything about it, but if I hear or see you thinking or saying like that again you will be punished,” Clare told the girl.

“Now can I have an Orange Soda with unlimited pepperoni pizza. What do you want my mate?”

“I want a Coke and unlimited meat-lovers pizza, oh and cheese.”

“Ok I’ll be right back with your drinks and your your pizza should take about 20minutes.”

“So next question, How do you feel about me having 2 mates,” Clare asked me with a concerned look in her eyes.
