Rejected Mate

Chapter Chapter twenty-three: The wedding part 1

Erika pov

I have a week to plan the wedding, and I'm stressing,

I put Ashley in charge of my dress, and I am in charge of the rest, but I have no idea where to start.

I just want a small wedding, so I'm only in charge of the menu, flowers, vowels and the Layout of everything.

The guests are only the pack members; the ceremony will be outside with all the gear we already have from other pack weddings. Plus, the pack already has a priest to perform the ceremony.

“Guess what” Ashley smiles, walking into hazyns office, which is currently wedding planning central.

“What's that?” I question confused; please don't tell me something is wrong because I can't deal with that right now. Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ FɪndNøvel.ɴᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“I got you a dress, the last one in your size too” Ashley smiles before ducking out of the office and coming back with a long black bag.

I jump up and unzip the bag to see a beautiful créme satin wedding ball gown with a deep v-neck made of lace.

“It's beautiful”, I admit staring in shock at how beautiful it truly is.

“Try it on”, Ashley grins, helping me get it on to show that the gown is a perfect fit.

“You're stunning”, Ashley adds; I look down at myself and nod my head in agreement. I really do look good in this dress.

I smile quickly before carefully stripping off the dress and putting it back into the dress bag before turning back to the menu ideas that the pack chef has put together for me.

“I got it”, I cheer, pulling the perfect menu out of the deck.

“What did you decide?” Ashley questions.

“For the starters, we have buffalo Caprese with mozzarella, grape tomatoes and basil and an Arugula salad with baby arugula, grape tomatoes and Parmigiano. The main dish will be beef tenderloin with mushroom risotto, and dessert will be a red velvet three-tier cake with edible flowers and fresh berries,” I answer, making Ashley moan at the sound of all the food that will be served.

“That sounds so good.”

“Now everything else”, I joke, pushing the menus to the side.

I stare at the clock as I start to finalise the layout of the wedding; I've spent the past few hours writing my vowels and working out the layout of the wedding. I know I want red and white roses to be the centrepieces of the tables and buttercups to be a part of the wedding arch.

“How you going” Hazyn questions wrapping his arms around me as I put the last sticky note on the layout for the seating chart

“Done”, 1 giggle, jumping up and wrapping my arms around his neck cheerfully.

“And three days early”, Hazyn smiles. I gently move everything to the right spots so that tomorrow I can give everyone who's helping with the assignments so everything goes smoothly.

“I know, it's taken a lot of hard work from Ashley and me, but we got there in the end.”

“You two did amazing, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out, but for now, you need to go to bed, my beautiful queen.” I nod my head understanding exactly what he means; I feel so tired that my body is getting ready to shut down forcefully.

“Alright, let's go to bed" I smile before leading Hazyn to bed.
