Rejected Luna Queen

Chapter 35

Nesta’s POV

The next morning. I groggily stirred from my slumber, my head pounding with the remnants of last night’s revelry. A smile twisted the edges of my lips.

I blinked blearily, trying to shake off the lingering effects of sleep, my gaze fell upon a small pill and a glass of water placed neatly beside my bed.

Curious, I reached for the pill and the note that accompanied is, my fingers trembling slightly as I unfolded the piece of paper. I took it remembering everything Elara had taught me

The words were simple yet reassuring: “Drink for your body to get back to normal fast.”

With a mixture of gratitude and curiosity, I popped the pill into my mouth and washed it down with the cool, refreshing water.

Almost immediately, I felt a sense of clarity wash over me, the fog of the previous night’s indulgences beginning to lift. My eyes became way more clearer than when I woke up minutes ago.

I sat up in bed, feeling more awake and alert than I had in hours, I couldn’t help but marvel at the thoughtful gesture. Someone had taken the time to ensure that I was well taken care of, even in the midst of my drunken stupor.

With a newfound sense of determination, I pushed back the covers and swung my legs over the side of the bed, ready to face the day ahead. I yawned loudly but happily.

Whatever challenges lay in store for me, I knew that I was ready to tackle them head on, thanks to the small act of kindness that had set me on the path to recovery

I prepared for my driving classes, I carefully selected my outfit, opting for a sleek yoga ensemble that hugged my curves in all the right places. Not many curves if I am being honest

With each movement, the fabric stretched and flexed, accentuating my figure in a way that made me feel confident and empowered. Elara’s words are getting to my head slowly.

I stood before the mirror, adjusting my hair and smoothing out any stray irrands that dared to disobey. With practised precision, I applied a coat of mascara to my lashes, enhancing their natural length and volume.

As I worked, a small smile played at the corners of my lips. I knew exactly why I was putting in the effort, why I was taking extra care with my appearance today

It wasn’t just about looking good for myself—it was about catching the eye of Alpha Luca, the charismatic leader of our pack. Our pack. It sounds so possessive and beautiful at the same time.

With a final glance in the mirror, I nodded in satisfaction, pleased with the image that stared back at me. I may not be the most glamorous or confident person in the world.

But today, I felt ready to face whatever challenges came my way, all in the hopes of earning a second glance from the enigmatic alpha who had captured my attention.

1 stepped out into the parking lot, the morning sun cast a warm glow over the surroundings, illuminating everything in a soft, golden light. My bear raced with anticipation as I scanned the area, searching for Alpha Luca

And then, there he was–leaning casually against his car, looking effortlessly handsome in his casual wear and sunglasses.

My breath caught in my throat as I took in the sight of him, feeling a rush of excitement course through my veins. My face flush as I made my way towards him. My ponytail bouncing with each step.

His presence seemed to fill the space around him, commanding attention without even trying, With each step closer, my heart pounded louder in my chest, the sound echoing in my ears as I approached him.

I couldn’t help but smile in response, my cheeks Bushing with warmth at the sight of him I need to act normal but it seems like I can’t do that to save my life right now.

“Good morning,” 1 replied, my voice barely above a whisper as I tried to steady my racing heart.

Despite my best efforts to remain composed, I couldn’t shake the feeling of butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I licked my lips.

As we exchanged pleasantries, I couldn’t tear my gaze away from him, my eyes drawn to the way the sunlight danced across his features, highlighting the chiselled lines of his jaw and the twinkle in his eyes behind his sunglasses.
