It was hard for me to even understand what my relationship with Darius was. Most times, I wished he could treat me the way the Alpha treated my friend. Alpha

was all in with Rita. Beta Darius on the other hand was barely halfway in.
For some time, I thought he was cheating on me, but it turned out that he was not. I should be happy, but I doubt if that will ever be the case, because Darius was afraid of commitment. I looked down at my fingers. "He does not want pups. He never wanted a mate in the first place and sometimes, that makes me feel like I'm disrupting his perfect life.
