"Elijah, what if I tried to kill the Luna?" I asked and I watched him furrow his brows in confusion. f he was foolish enough to love ine unconditionally, then I had to make use of it "Ivy, d-did you really try to kill her?"
"What if I did?" I raised an eyebrow and he began to fidget.
He looked around. "If you did, then we have to find a way to get you out of here." I took a deep breath. "Just remain calm. I would find a way to get the keys to this place. It should be easy to do that, then I will find a way to help you escape without getting caught." I smirked. He was foolish to love me. Well, good for me.
"And what about you? You know that breaking me out of prison even if you're guard is nearly impossible. Alpha Les intentional about his prisoners. It's worse for me because I am being accused of trying to kill the love of his life."
"I would rather die trying to help you out of here than sit back and do nothing. I would get the keys. We will figure out every other thing later."
He turned to leave.
"I have a better idea," I said, stopping him in his tracks.
He looked at me and c*****d an eyebrow. "And what might that be?"
"I will tell you. But first, you have to help me kill Dean."

widened in terror. "You just talk talked about how impossible it is for a guard to help a prisoner escape without getting caught. What makes you think it will be much easier for a guard to kill a prisoner? Dean is still under investigation by Alphal Leo. If I kill him, I will be a prime suspect. Alpha Leo will know that I'm that I'm involved.

getting closer to the power I have always desired.

"Shadowsting." I could hear my aunt's voice ringing in my ear. "That was what they used to kill my sister."
While everyone thought that my mother died naturally, her sister kept on saying that she was poisoned. According to her, no one could know that she was poisoned because the poison used was shadowsting.
I knew Shadowsting was a fictional poison. The type talked about in myths and legends.
She's just a
ta lunatic. Those were the words of everyone whenever my mother's sister spoke of my mother's death. They were right. Aunt Freya, my mother's sister, was mentally ill However, I still asked why she kept on saying that my mother was poisoned. Aunt Freya brought out the gown my mother was wearing when she died. There was a black stain on the gown. "The black stain. I'm guessing they poisoned her drink. The drink must have spilled on her dress. The only way of knowing if your drink is poisoned by shadowsting is by pouring a little on a piece of clothing. It'll have the exact same dark stain on your mother's gown. A drink with as little as a sprinkle of shadowsting turns anything it touches to black after a long while! "The black stain can be caused by anything."

Aunt Freya's words were the first thing that came to mind when i saw the stain. I was still skeptical, but to be on the safe side. I acted like I drank the wine Ivy gave me. I placed my mouth on the glass and allowed the wine to flow to my lips, but I made sure nothing entered my lips. When Ivy looked away, I threw my drink away immediately. After a a while, I fell to the ground on the pretense of getting poisoned.

And, that was enough for Ivy to reveal her true colors. She told me how she killed Ama and how she only helped me just so she could get close enough to me to destroy my relationship with the Alpha. And, since she could not come between the Alpha and I, she decided to kill me. Pretending to be dead was hard, but with Dakota's help I was able to pull it off
The door to the room swung open and my mate dashed in.
