Chapter 119
"I can't wait for you to get married." Mikayla stuffed a grape into Juliet's mouth.
Juliet took a bite of the grape and sat closer to Mikayla, smiling blankly. "Mikayla, you know what? That night of your wedding photo shoot, Elvis sent me home. And that night, Brantley kissed me!" Recalling the scene at that time, Juliet couldn't help but feel ecstatic. "Was he overwhelmed by my charm?"
"I think he got jealous when he saw Elvis sending you home," Mikayla said bluntly.
Juliet felt heartbroken, wondering how they became best friends in the first place. Juliet said, "I don't know. He also drank a little that day." Whatever the reason was, he kissed her. She had planned to give her first kiss to Brantley for a long time. Now that Brantley took the initiative, she didn't care about anything else.
Ignoring Juliet, Mikayla picked up her glass and said, "Come on, let's have a drink!"
Juliet saw the large private room and asked, "Just the three of us?"
"What other friends do I have that you don't know about?" Mikayla said.
"Such a pity!" Juliet didn't hold back and raised her glass.
Xavier also trotted over and picked up his glass. The three of their glasses collided, making a cheerful clink. They said happily, "May our friendship last forever!"
Then they filled their glasses again. Usually, Mikayla would never drink like that. Tonight, she set everything aside and downed two drinks in a row, determined not to go home until she was drunk. "Damn it, are you suffering from pre-wedding jitters or something?" Juliet grabbed the bottle from Mikayla's hand.
"You're overthinking. I just want to indulge a bit for once, have a few extra drinks." Mikayla didn't intend to get drunk. Maybe it was the atmosphere tonight that made her want to drink more. "Fine! If you get drunk, I'll send you to Carlos' room tonight!" Juliet said irritably, but she still drank with Mikayla.
Mikayla said, "That's great. We can celebrate our wedding night early!"
The splendid, overly luxurious VIP private room didn't seem empty at all because of Juliet and Xavier's company. They even had a great time, as if they had returned to their carefree childhood days. Juliet was not good at drinking, but it turned out Mikayla's capacity for alcohol was even worse. Mikayla didn't drink much, but soon, she started feeling a little dizzy and drunk.
Xavier got a call from a friend and told them he would return soon after stepping out. Juliet almost gave Xavier a piece of her mind for leaving like that.
However, just a few minutes after Xavier left, someone opened the private room door. It was Kashton who Juliet had cursed in her heart countless times that day. "Kashton, how dare you come here!" At the sight of Kashton, Juliet's good mood instantly vanished. She stood up and walked towards Kashton with a swaggering expression.
Mikayla stood up from the couch in a daze and walked straight out of the private room. Juliet watched her walking unsteadily and wanted to bypass Kashton to help her. There were all sorts of people in that place. Although the seventh floor was safe, she didn't dare to take it lightly ever since Mikayla was kidnapped last time. Besides, Mikayla was so beautiful. She was worried that someone might harbor lustful intentions.
"Juliet, where are you going?" Kashton stopped her. He had specifically gone there to see her.
"Get out of my way! Mikayla is leaving." Juliet gave Kashton a violent push.
Fortunately, Kashton had practiced.
He kept his balance and grabbed Juliet's arm. "Don't worry. She will be fine here Kashton said. "Have you forgotten who owns this place? With Carlos relationship with Elvis, she could stroll around here freely! Besides, Carlos is next door..."
Hearing Kashton's words, Juliet was relieved. Looking at Kashton still holding her arm, she said, "Are you holding on to me because you have a crush on me?" Juliet attempted to free her arm from Kashton's grip.
"Give me a break! I would be blind to fall in love with you." Kashton let go of her.
Kashton easily dodged her kick. Juliet gritted her teeth and said, "Kashton, why don't you go to hell?"
"If I die, who will set you up for a relationship?" Kashton raised an eyebrow, flashing his beautiful eyes.
Unfortunately, in Juliet's opinion, no matter how beautiful his eyes were, they were overshadowed by his malicious words. "I have a boyfriend!" Juliet shouted.
Kashton replied, "That's not a problem. Juliet, would you like to be able to stroll around here like Mikayla?"
Juliet pondered, 'Damn! If already having a boyfriend is not a problem, then what is?" "No! I'm loyal and unswerving. Stop trying to flirt with me." Kashton laughed. "I wouldn't dare flirt with you! I'm here on behalf of Elvis. Let me tell you, Elvis is a hundred times better than your current boyfriend Brantley!" Upon hearing Kashton talk badly about Brantley, Juliet bared her teeth like an angry lioness. "Kashton, don't insult my boyfriend! Or I will turn against you!" Unexpectedly, Kashton smiled with satisfaction when he saw Juliet's reaction. "Not bad! If you're going to be with Elvis in the future, you have to protect him for us." "Piss off! Who wants to be with him? Just get out of here!" Juliet pushed Kashton away. Whoever mentioned Elvis around her would get on her nerves, especially Kashton. "Okay, I'm leaving!" Kashton appeared compliant.
Juliet was a little surprised.
However, when the door was pushed open again, Juliet truly felt like digging a grave for Kashton.

Mikayla went out of the private room
and took a deep breath. She was a little drunk but still felt sober. She knew Juliet was hot-tempered. If she met Kashton, there would be an explosive collision. She didn't want to see them arguing, so she went for a walk and got some fresh air. Mikayla didn't know what she was thinking along the way. She walked to the public restroom.
Just after walking for a while, Mikayla saw a familiar person pushing her wheelchair towards her. The girl in the wheelchair saw Mikayla, too. The two of them locked eyes as they saw each other. Natasha saw Mikayla and smiled sweetly. "Mikayla, you're here too?"
Mikayla looked at Natasha, dressed
in pure white her long hair flowing down her shoulders. She looked cute and obedient, out of place in that environment. Mikayla didn't know why she was there. "Natasha, why are you here?" The Ludwig family had protected her so strictly that she was not supposed to come to such a place.
