REBORN UNDER THE FULL MOON

Chapter 67: New Dawn

LYRA'S POV

I can't believe how beautiful everywhere in free town was. I felt hopeful for the first time in a long time.

Anyplace that I passed the species greeted me as their luna and I was surprised.

"Did you hear what they just call me?" I asked Aria.

"Yes, they called you luna. Oh, we forgot to tell you when you were still in coma, we have a meeting with the head of every leader of all the species and we agreed to call you our luna," Aria told me with a smile. "But I didn't agree with it did I? I wasn't asked," I said to her.

"You don't have to agree, we the people have decided and that is final. Aria said laughing.

"I can't believe you guys. Do you know the responsibility that comes with being luna? And it is not just wolves, it is every other species. Don't you realize that is a lot of work?" I asked.

"It truly is a lot of work but you are capable," Aria smiled at me as she continued walking with me telling m their renovation plans and the works they have put into the pack.

"Okay so now I get it, I also like this new rebuilt. I like the little communities so everyone's values are still intact. I love how everything is going. Thankfully we don't have any vampire species because they are very chaotic and they would love to mess with the arrangement," I said to her as we continued walking.

"Yes, that is very truly. Well, we have one hybrid that would make a very fine Alpha," Aria wriggled her brows at me.

"Cut it out Aria! We don't know how things would go yet. We are just leading by how we feel. He hasn't even asked me out yet," I rolled my eyes.

"I think he doesn't need to ask you out for you to know that he is head over heels for you sis," Aria nudged me.

"Hmm, well okay," I nodded and we continued in our journey.

"Just okay? Well, this is the spot I talked about. We want to make a school here. it will make a lot of sense since it is close to every other community and it will be easier for the kids to commune here," Aria explained to me.

I had seen the blueprint and I loved the plan but I knew that we would have to find a way to close up our borders and probably put a spell around the land to prevent intruder.

"I think we still have a lot of things to do but I like the way things are going right now. We still need to block all borders and put a spell around to prevent intruders like the hunters and human," I said to Aria.

"Yes, I thought of it too and I was going to bring it up in the next council meeting and as the head of the council, it will be done either way. I just thought to inform the leaders of the other species." Aria responded. "That's good," I nodded absentmindedly.

"What's good? The fact that I am the head of the council that the leaders elected or the blocking of the borders plan?" Aria asked me smirking as she followed my line of sight.

"Please don't be a pain in my ass," I groaned.

"Mhhm, it's not everyday I see you get lost examining a fine specimen," She mocked.

"Oh, zip it," I groaned as I wanted to walk away from her but she hadn't finished telling me about the plans for the pack and I knew in my heart I will be stuck with this torment for the next two hours. The thought of it alone, brought a groan out of my lips.

"Aria you know I cannot live you for at least the next two hours, so can you be less of an a-hole and actually enlighten me about the decisions made in the council and the new plans I missed. Don't make this painful for both of us," I warned. "Like a threat? Are you threatening me Lyra?" she teased but she knew that she was really annoying me and annoyed me isn't fun at all.

"Alright Lyra, I am sorry," she pleaded but she still had a glint of mischief in her eyes.

"I don't believe you but I really don't have the strength for all of this right now so I'll just ignore it and pretend you actually gave me an apology." I rolled my eyes and Aria just laughed.

"Okay, I think the plan is really good. Who came up with all of this?" I asked because the person was a genius.

"It was Kyle, and we just added bits of our ideas. But it was mainly Kyle that was behind all of this," Aria smiled and I knew what her smile meant but I just ignored her.

"Oh, and a new wolf joined us, her name is Kiera. She told us she was a lone wolf and a friend of Kyle," Aria told me.

"Really? Why is she a lone wolf though? The Ryker attack her pack too?" I asked curiously.

"No, she is from Russian. She is a different wolf and her creator is different from ours. She is pretty strong and she asked to join the army. She was part of the army in her former pack and I just thought she could help train our people. What do you think?" She asked me.

"I'd love to meet her, then we will know what to do about the situation," I replied to Aria.

"Oh see her over there with Kyle," Aria pointed forward and I saw a lady who appeared to be in a deep conversation with Kyle but something struck me about her.

I had seen her before. But where? I asked myself as I tried to remember where I had seen her.

Oh wait, she was the one that was with Kyle that other night, I remembered.
