Chapter 1947 Unable To Resist
After a while, the stone in Rocky's hand dimmed, and he was unable to see the Holy-Evil World anymore.
"What happened to you just now?" Vivian asked, frowning.
"I think I've already opened the entrance to the Holy-Evil World," Rocky said calmly as if it was not a big deal
"What? How did you manage that?" Vivian exclaimed, staring at Rocky in shock.
"This stone is the key that opens the entrance. I think there's more to it, but I'll wait and ask the deity later,” Rocky explained as he tucked the unremarkable divine stone away for safekeeping. "Are we going to leave the Ethereal Valley now?"
"Not yet. I'm curious to see the changes that have happened in the Ethereal Valley first,” Rocky said. After the entrance in the Holy Heaven Palace had been opened, many areas that had been originally inaccessible in the Holy Heaven Palace had also been opened. Jaiden, Colton's father, had traveled to some of the areas to scout cultivation places for the disciples of the Di Clan. Now that he had opened the entrance in the Ethereal Valley, most restrictions would be lifted too.
It didn't take long for the teams of the five major clans in the Ethereal Valley to recognize the changes. When they discovered that they could access new areas, they changed their plans and started exploring them.
It was a lot easier now that the majority of the no-flying areas allowed flying.
As soon as Rocky and Vivian left the tomb and stepped through the enchanted barrier, they could sense every single change that had taken place.
Before they explored anything, they wanted to reunite with Alex, so they flew away from the snow mountain.
In the meantime, Alex was joining with Jeffrey's team and the other two teams. They had been trapped and some of them were injured or even dead. However, their remaining numbers still had a lot of power.
Over the next few days, with the help of the deity spirit's power that Alex had obtained, she managed to explore many of the new areas and obtain a good harvest.
Two days before the Ethereal Valley was going to close, Rocky and Vivian finally found Alex and Wankong Clan's team.
"What are you two doing back here?" Alex asked, looking at Rocky and Vivian with a gaping open mouth. Originally, she had been expecting to meet up with Rocky and Vivian after the Ethereal Valley closed.
"Our task went perfectly. We're finished, so we thought we would come and find you,” Rocky answered.
"Really? That's good." Alex nodded.
"What about you? What have you gained during our absence?" Rocky asked.
"Well, I've done a lot of exploring, and I've harvested more than our Wankong Clan has ever found before,” Alex admitted, smiling from ear to ear. It was clear how proud of herself she was. "Excellent."
"I can't forget to thank you two. Without you, our Wankong Clan would still be struggling,” Alex said.
"You're welcome. It's no big deal. We are helping each other,” Rocky replied modestly.
"Young Master, the first team that leaves the Ethereal Valley will be rewarded. We should leave as soon as possible," Jeffrey announced as he walked over. He glanced at Rocky and Vivian and scowled, acting like they weren't even present.
Alex hadn't told Jeffrey about anything that Rocky and Vivian had done. If Jeffrey had known, he wouldn't have looked at them like that.
"You're right. Let's go!" Alex ordered, waving her hand for everyone to follow her.
At the same time, the other four clans, which had also gained a lot, were retreating at a fast pace. They all wanted to be the first team to leave the Ethereal Valley.
About three days later, all of the five clans’ teams reached the huge stone platform that they had used to enter.
"Young Master, we should split up into two groups. I will take some Spiritual Emperors and we will block the other four clans from exiting. You will take the others to the teleportation array," Jeffrey suggested.
"I like that plan,” Alex agreed.
So, Jeffrey gathered several Spiritual Emperors and some Spiritual Kings at the peak stage, and they walked to the main road that led to the stone platform.
At the same time, Alex, Rocky, Vivian, and the rest of the Spiritual Kings moved as fast as they could to the transmission array.
However, the Wankong Clan wasn't the only clan with that idea. The other four clans were all planning the same tactic.
As Rocky and the others started running, Abdullah from the Xiayu Clan and two Spiritual Emperors darted for the stone platform.
At the end of the long platform, a teleportation array was shimmering. It was the only way to leave the Ethereal Valley.
"Brat, how are you still alive? I heard that you were trapped in a palace and killed by a monster," Abdullah said as he caught up to the Rocky.
"Nope. Luck was on my side," Rocky answered, sneering.
"It's them. They are the ones that stole the divine treasure!" someone shouted. In the distance, the Spiritual Emperors and the spirit warriors from the Bilong Clan and the Hongling Clan were coming towards them. As soon as they saw Rocky, Vivian, and Alex, outrage appeared on their faces.
"You guys have a divine treasure?" Abdullah asked, glancing downwards. He could see the Ice Wand protruding from Alex's hand.
"Alex, are you holding a divine treasure?” Abdullah continued. Greed was swimming in his eyes. "So what if it is a divine treasure? It doesn't concern you,” Alex snapped.
"Alex, I'll be honest with you. I have wanted to marry you for a very long time. I have a suggestion When we get back, I'll propose to you. Once we are married and our two clans are allied, your Wankong Clan's status will rise within the five clans instead of lowering,” Abdullah said in a flattering tone. From what he could see, the wand in her hand was a divine treasure, and if he married her, the divine treasure would belong to the Xiayu Clan.
"No way! You're scum! I don't want to marry you,” Alex yelled.
"That was a big mistake. Without my help, you will lose the divine treasure in your hand!" Abdullah threatened.
"If you hand it over, I will allow you to go. Otherwise, there's no guarantee that you will be able to leave the Ethereal Valley!" The Spiritual Emperors and the spirit warriors from the other two clans gritted their teeth and cracked their knuckles. It was clear that they were all going to attack Alex. "Just ignore them. They are a group of losers. Let's go," Rocky said to Alex and Vivian.
"Leave? That's not going to happen! Surround them!" Abdullah ordered. He was determined to keep the divine treasure in his sight.
"That's not going to work!" Alex yelled. Then, she released the power of a Spiritual Emperor at the peak stage.
"What? She's a Spiritual Emperor at the peak stage? That's impossible! I don't believe this!" Abdullah exclaimed.
The Spiritual Emperors and the spirit warriors from the other two clans gasped. They weren't expecting Alex to go from a Spiritual King to a Spiritual Emperor at the peak stage so fast.
But none of that mattered, Abdullah and the others were too tempted to snatch the divine treasure.
