Chapter 101
"Mr. Davidson Senior?" Brigham was taken aback.
How could this be happening? Wasn't Derek supposed to join him in denouncing Yolanda as a fraud? But now, he seemed so friendly toward her and even spoke with a hint of admiration.
In fact, Brigham felt that the highly respected Derek was as happy as a schoolboy when he saw Yolanda.
Brigham felt like his worldview was collapsing. No... This couldn't be right. He must have misheard.
Derek was a renowned miracle doctor in Havaria and the foremost miracle doctor in Riverdale. Wherever he went, he was a figure of expertise.
How could he possibly admire someone who Brigham considered ugly and foolish?
Zach observed Brigham's dumbfounded expression and smirked subtly. Brigham's earlier attitude had genuinely annoyed him. If not for Brigham being the beloved grandson of Nigel, he might have taught that brat a lesson. His anger dissipated somewhat after he saw Brigham getting slapped in the face.
"Mr. Davidson Senior, this woman is a fraud! You weren't deceived by her sweet talk, were you? She almost harmed my grandfather yesterday! How could she possibly understand medicine? It's impossible!" Brigham couldn't fathom what kind of magic Yolanda had that made the wise and respected Derek believe her nonsense.
Derek looked at Brigham in surprise. "Who told you she's a fraud? What kind of fraud possesses medical skills that far surpass mine? The last time I saw her practice, I was in awe!"
Upon hearing his serious words, Brigham was completely stunned. How could this be? How could Derek be so submissive to a woman his age who hadn't even attended medical school? No! It couldn't be! Yolanda must have used some underhanded means to deceive Derek and Zach! This woman, who wanted to harm Nigel for money, could not possibly have any real skill!
Yolanda didn't even glance at
Brigham Anstead, she turned to Nigel and said lightly, "Dr. Davidson, Mr. Hansen's condition isn't good. Let's discuss all other matters later. Please examine him first."
Brigham suddenly snapped back to reality. "Right! Mr. Davidson Senior, please examine my grandfather!"
Derek looked at Yolanda with surprise.
"Ms. Henderson, isn't Mr. Hansen Senior's illness beyond your capabilities?"
"Not at all." Yolanda shook her head. "I'll explain in detail later. Please just examine him first."
"Alright." Seeing that she wasn't going to elaborate, he didn't press further.
He approached Nigel and opened his medical kit. Derek first took Nigel's pulse. Then, he pulled out a stethoscope his

heartbeat.
"Let me see the previous doctor's diagnosis!"
"Okay." Nigel gestured for Brigham to get it.
A moment later, Derek received the diagnosis from Floyd and carefully studied the values listed.
Derek was among Havaria's top ten physicians not just because of his outstanding skills in traditional medicine, but also due to his past prominence in modern medicine. However, he gradually shifted his focus to research in traditional medicine.
As he examined the hospital's diagnosis, he frowned and sighed.
Upon seeing Derek's strange expression, Nigel couldn't help but feel nervous. "Derek, what exactly is the matter with my illness?"
